Remember

Remember me when I am gone away，

Gone far away into the silent land;

When you can no more hold me by the hand，

Nor I half turn to go， yet turning stay.

Remember me when no more day by day

You tell me of our future that you plann'd:

Only remember me; you understand

It will be late to counsel then or pray.

Yet if you should forget me for a while

And afterwards remember， do not grieve:

For if the darkness and corruption leave

A vestige of the thoughts that once I had，

Better by far you should forger and smile

Than that you should remember and be sad.

克里斯蒂娜·羅賽蒂（1830－1894）是英國“先拉斐爾派”女詩人，她的抒情詩明凈清麗，優美纖巧，音節和諧，感情細膩，宛轉動人，帶有神秘的色彩。主要作品有童話詩《妖魔集市》（Goblin Market）、諷喻長詩《王子的歷程》（The Prince's Progress）等。

愛情是詩人靈感的源泉，超越了生死的愛戀，更是執著深沉。愛是難舍難分的，就好像生離死別，去意徘徊卻又百般無奈；愛是爭分奪秒的，朝朝暮暮，細訴衷腸；愛是全心全意的，只為付出，不求回報，因此才心甘情愿地讓對方微笑地遺忘。歸根結底，愛是一首永志不忘的戀曲，在詩人心里反反復復地吟唱。
