本篇若稍作修改便是篇不錯的譯文，將 “firmly conceived…as his wife” 替換成 “believed… to be his wife”；“since he had found” 替換成 “after he had found”；將 “kiss its black-glittered feathers with their hands” 修改為 “touch his black feathers”。另外，譯文中三處粗體部分可以分別修改為 “tracking the love story”，直接在及物動詞 “track” 后接上賓語即可； “have been” 寫成 “have become” 更為妥當(dāng)；第三處將定冠詞 “the” 改成 “an”。整體來說，是篇不錯的作品。

Large numbers of tourists pay a visit to the legendary \"sage of sentiment\" every day， in the hope of an opportunity to get a gentle touch of its black shining feather.

大家也看到了，這也是篇較為優(yōu)秀的翻譯作品。譯文稍顯松散，但是仍能清楚地表達原文含義，有一處需要修改成 “the black swan has become used to the dazzling flashlights”， 將 “by degrees” 刪去即可。翻得不錯！
