創設由“話題”到“情境”的教學模式

現行高中英語教材以話題為中心，以聽力、會話、閱讀、語法、寫作為載體，通過各種教學活動來促進學生的自主學習，培養學生的創新精神，構建學生的知識體系。在每個單元的教學活動中，針對單元話題，我們都可以創設一定的情境，讓學生在輕松愉快的氣氛中學習知識。下面是創設由“話題”到“情境”的教學模式的示意圖。

這一教學模式從知識的輸入開始，通過激發學生的興趣和激活學生的思維兩個教學環節，讓學生學習知識，進而讓學生通過情境實踐知識。這遵循了由感性認識到理性認識的認知規律。這種教學模式可以運用于不同的教學內容。

一、聽說教學

在聽說教學中，教師可以先給學生呈現話題，讓學生說出與該話題相關的詞匯和句型;進而由教師提出關于該話題的若干問題，讓學生回答這些問題，并由此進入聽說材料的情境之中。例如，在Good Friends的聽說教學中，教師可以設計如下的教學活動。

T:We are going to talk about good friends. Please tell me your good friends’ feature.

S:My good friends are honest， kind， smart， brave， ready to help others， make me happy.

T:If good friends don’t agree with each other， how will they deal with it?

教師放錄音，讓學生學習聽力材料和會話材料。

二、閱讀教學

在閱讀教學中，教師可以先告訴學生文章的標題，再提出2～3個有關文章內容的問題，讓學生通過回答這些問題來預測文章的內容。然后教師指導學生閱讀文章，根據文章的內容重新回答問題。例如，在Animal Experiments的閱讀教學中，教師可以設計如下的教學活動。

T:Today we’ll learn a passage about animal experiments. Can you guess what type of writing the passage is?How many parts make up the passage and what are they?

S1:The passage is an narration， or a debate essay.

S2: Four parts make up the passage.

T:Read the passage in seven minutes and answer the three questions.

(After the students reading the passage)

S1: The passage is a debate essay.

S2: Three parts make up the passage. The first part is “Are we allowed to use animals for experiments?”，the second part is “Does animal testing work?”，the third part is “Do people have the right to use animals?”.

三、語法教學

在語法教學中，教師可以先給學生呈現語法項目，讓學生通過回答問題明確該語法的概念，通過示范舉例讓學生清楚該語法的結構，通過相應的練習(情境)讓學生掌握該語法的規則。例如，在學習關于Modal Verbs的語法時，教師可以設計如下的教學活動。

Definition: A modal verb is a kind of verb that can not be used alone but must be followed by a bare verb. It can express possibility.

Structure:

①must/can/could/may/might+be/do;

②must/can/could/may/might+be doing;

③must/can/could/may/might+havedone

Practice:

①It’s very cold now. It might be raining somewhere.

②The ground is dry. It can not have rained last night.

四、寫作教學

在作文教學中，教師可以先給學生呈現作文話題，指導學生閱讀寫作提示及其要求，把握寫作的體裁，然后引導學生選擇所需要的詞匯和句型，組詞成句，聯句成篇，完成話題寫作。在Animal Experiments的寫作教學中，教師可以設計如下的教學活動。

Topic:Animal Experiments

Type of writing:a debate essay

Demands of writing:two opinions at least;with two or three arguments.

Vocabulary: be for， be against，in one’s opinion， but， still， however， first of all， what’s more，on one hand...on the other hand， have the right to...

教學實踐證明，以上所述的由“話題”到“情境”的教學模式對提高英語教學質量，促進學生全面發展，實現新課標教學目標具有積極的指導作用，是切實可行的教學模式。
