無印鍵盤

Keyboard without Printed Letters

當別的廠商還在努力使鍵盤上的字母更難磨掉的時候，DasKeyboard推出了這款無印鍵盤Das Keyboard Ultimate。與眾不同的是這款機械鍵盤并沒有在鍵上印刷字母，而且還是一款機械鍵盤。設計師Daniel Guermeur說:“最好的訓練盲打的方法就是不去看鍵盤，我們提供的機械鍵盤會給您提供意想不到的觸感。”

While other manufacturers are endeavoring to make abrasion-resistant printed letters， Das Keyboard has launched its Print-free Keyboard—Das Keyboard Ultimate， which， unusually， has no letters printed on it. Moreover， it is a mechanical keyboard. “The best way of practicing ‘touch typing’ is not to look at the keyboard and the mechanical keyboard we produced will bring you an unexpected sense of touch”， said Daniel Guermeur， the designer.

Long-life Fuel Cell

美國硅谷一家新興公司Bloom Energy日前宣布在燃料電池開發上取得突破，可為服務器提供廉價和相對清潔的能源。該公司花了近10年時間開發一系列固體氧化物燃料電池，這種電池被認為是最有效但又是技術難度最大的燃料電池技術，壽命可達10年。目前谷歌、美國銀行和沃爾瑪等大公司已經在測試該設備。

Bloom Energy， a newly developed company in Silicon Valley， USA， currently announced its breakthrough in the research and development of fuel cells which can provide low-priced and comparatively clean energy for servers. It took this company nearly ten years to develop a series of solid oxide fuel cells. This kind of cell which can be used for ten years is regarded as the most effective one， yet the one with the most difficult technology. This cell equipment was being tested by some large corporations such as Google， Bank of America and Wal-Mart.

復古電視

厭倦了科技感強烈的平板電視，再精彩的節目也覺得索然無味?LG在韓國推出了復古風格CRT小電視。這款LG CRT電視屏幕只有14英寸，比例為4:3，設有老式的頻道和音量旋鈕，配有4個鉻支腳，風格圓潤，兩根天線就像一對兔子耳朵。甚至，除彩色之外，還設有黑白和sepia懷舊色調模式。

It's the solution for those bored with flat-screens and high definition. LG Company has launched a small sized retro television with an old fashioned CRT. With a screen size of 14 inches， the LG Series comes in traditional 4:3 aspect ratio with four chrome legs and two rabbit-ear antennae. It was designed with old-styled channels and volume. Besides Color TVs， Black and White sets were also designed as well as nostalgic sepia models.

世界之大，無奇不有，創意不斷，驚喜無限。23歲的藝術家露西·斯帕羅用了2400米長的線、142個紐扣在3平方米的毛氈上繡出了倫敦地鐵線路圖模樣的掛毯。為了完成這幅作品，露西花費了227個小時。她接下來準備用毛氈縫制一個實際尺寸大小的汽車。

With unceasing innovation， nothing is too strange in the world. The 23-year-old Felt Artist Lucy·Sparrow handmade a London Underground map tapestry from 2，400 meters of thread， 142 buttons and three square meters of white felt. Lucy took 227 hours to make the piece. Her next plan is to make a life-sized car out of felt.

Ben Matthews is one of the UK's best light graffiti artists. He， 26， from Guildford， Surrey， works as a dentist by day; while at night， he creates amazing light painting by using long exposure settings on the camera， combined with the movement of colored lights in front of the lens， which produces the same light and shade effect as is done at great cost in Hollywood movies.
