教學目標:
1.Master the phrases of TV shows like talk shows, soap operas,sports shows and so on. 2.Master the sentences:
A: What do you think of game shows?
B: I love them./I don’t like them./ I don’t mind them./ I can’t stand them.
教學方法:Competition,cooperation.
教學準備:Textbook, tape recorder, exercise book.
教學設想:大部分初中學生都喜歡看電視,而本節課主要是談論對電視節目的喜好,所以,我就抓住學生的這一喜好,把本課教學環節設計成幾個頻道,每看完一個頻道就完成一個教學內容,并且穿插多個競賽環節,活躍課堂氣氛,培養他們的競爭精神。
教學過程:
Step 1 Revision(第一頻道 精彩回放)PK1

(引入第一個競賽環節:師生互助過難關,知識重現展風采。)
Step 2 Presentation(第二頻道 特別呈現)
Show some pictures and present the sentence.
A: What do you think of sitcoms/talk shows...
B: I love them./ I like them...
Then ask students to practice them.
(出示幾幅學生感興趣的節目圖片談論他們的喜好,采用“接龍練習決高低”“積極踴躍抓機遇”。) PK2

Step 3 Listening (第三頻道 天天聽力)
Listen and complete 2a, 2b. Then check the answers. After that ask students to recite the conversation.(訓練學生聽的能力,同時讓同學們比賽背對話。) PK4

Step 4 Practice ( 第四頻道 快樂驛站)
Ask students to be a host to interview any student in the other team by using the sentence \"What do you think of ...?\" The team which is better is the winner.

Step 5 Practice ( 第五頻道 名人訪談)
Ask students to use the sentences What does ...think of...? in pairs to talk about Yang Lin/Alan. And then complete 3a.( 同位扮演名人相互提問來練習句型。)
A:What does Yang Lin/Alan think of ...?
B: He/She loves it/likes it/doesn’t mind it/ doesn’t like it/can’t stand it.
Step 6 Self-study (第六頻道 探索發現) (提高學生自學能力。)
Ask Ss to use the information in 3a and fill in the blanks in 3b. Check the answer. Read 3b again and find out the importance and difficulties.
Step 7 Exercise (第七頻道 實踐之路)
Ask students to do some exercise. (鞏固所學知識)
Step 8 Homework(第八頻道 關注人生)
1.Write a letter to your friend about what you think of TV shows.
2.調查父母對電視節目的看法。(目的是使課堂所學知識在課下得到延伸。)
