Yanan Spirit and Ideological and Moral Cultivation of Contemporary College Students

Yanan spirit is our party and nation precious wealth，and are also the important materials to cultivate the college students to establish correct world outlook，the outlook on life and values.The yanan spirit goes through the current ideological and political education of college students，can effectively improve the college students’ideological and moral cultivation.

1 The scientific connotation of Yanan spirit

1.1 Firming correct political orientation is the primary content and soul of yanan spirit

Firming correct political direction is that should always adhere to the marxism as the guiding ideology，following the leadership of the party，to understand our national conditions correctly，struggling for the Chinese nation and the fundamental interests of the Chinese people Consciously.In the yanan period，it is characterized by the pursuit of the independence of the Chinese nation and the liberation of mankind and indomitable fighting spirit and the spirit of not afraid of sacrifice.

1.2 Emancipating the mind，seeking truth from facts is the important content and essence of yanan spirit

From May，1941 to April，1945，Our party to carry out the yenan rectification is a widespread movement of marxist education.After rectification，make party dogmatism and sectarianism pernicious liquidated in mind，Make the party master the fundamental principle and the thought method that have combined marxism with Chinese revolutionary practice，laid the important ideological basis for the victory of Chinese revolution.

1.3 The fundamental purpose of serving the people heart and soul is the essence of yanan spirit

The yanan period is an important period because Part of China established people’s regime and rising ruling area in Local area of China，both party and government workers，cadres and fighters，consciously seek the benefit and do good thing for the people.The Communist Party of China has been putting the people’s interests as a fundamental purpose since the date of birth of it，in yanan period it put forward the slogan of“serve the people”loudly and further to carry out at the same time[1].

2 Contemporary college students’negative situation of ideological and moral cultivation

2.1 The ideal faith is not strong

With the profound changes of international political and economic situation and invasion of western liberal thought gradually and Also due to extremely individual leading cadre corruption in China，Some college students has a doubt on the socialist system，lose confidence in the leadership of the party，shaken marxist faith，think Marx foresaw the communist society is utopia of impossible to come true.

2.2 The collective consciousness and dedication consciousness is weak

A new era of college students mostly only children，they are living in loose open social environment，all-round contact with various social ideological trend，has the independent judgment，strong desire to realize their individual value，but at the same time collective and collaborative concept is weak，lacking of dedication to service others，interpersonal relationships indifference and lacking of care and love between the classmate.

2.3 Hedonism prevailed

College students come from different places and have different family background，part of the condition good students spend money like water in the home，eating，wearing，using are all famous brand，take their parents’money“happiness”to live，On the learning attitude，muddle along，unwilling to bear the output.

3 To carry forward yanan’spirit,improve college students’ideological and moral cultivation

3.1 Adhere to the correct political orientation and firm ideal faith

The contemporary college students is the mainstay of China in the future，their political orientation and ideal faith relate directly to the national interests and national security.In the new period，college students to correctly understand the law of development of human society，understand the national destiny，clear their social responsibility，firm ideal faith of marxism，firmly set up the lofty ideal of communism，lay the foundation for serving country，serving people in the future.

3.2 Unification，feet on the ground

Unification，feet on the ground，is the important content of yanan spirit，also is the basic quality that the youth and contemporary college students should have.First of all，to set up the correct values and world view，clear your goal，set up the positive and practical ideal，arrange scientific and reasonable study and life.Second，down-to-earth work and studies.Li dazhao has a famous saying：down-to-earth to do everything，not in the tower of babel，not then to virtual sound，only do work by sincere attitude，study by this attitude，the truth can be bright，work by this attitude，the man can be successful.The contemporary young college students should do a giant of thought，also want to be a giant on action，should devote himself bravely to the hot and real life by the spirit of not afraid of losing.Start from some specific and small things by feet on the ground.

3.3 Hard work and plain living，diligent and thrifty

Contemporary college students shoulder the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation，So firmly establish the idea of arduous struggle，thrift is particularly important，the concept of bear in the former and business before pleasure is at any time can not be shaken.Of course，now speak the arduous struggle，thrift，not require us to return to that kind of grass cloth shoe，vegetarian Dan Fan life，but we put the thrift and hard work as a kind of attitude of life，a state of uplifting，strenuous enterprising spirit，oppose extravagance and waste，treat our life，study and work from the perspective of saving environmental protection and sustainable development.

Put the yanan spirit through the current ideological and political education，use yanan spirit educating college students，can make the contemporary students with lofty ideological and moral requirement to constrain，motivating and pushing themselves，conscientiously resist erosion of decadent and backward ideology and culture，to be a dignified and imposing man and honestly to do things，contribute an own strength to the construction of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.
