中學英語中強調句型的用法小結

強調句型是英語語法教學的一項重要內容，也是教學中的一個難點?，F總結如下：

一、強調句型的構成

It is/was＋被強調部分＋that（強調部分是人時也可用who/whom）＋其他部分。例如：

I met him in the street this morning.

It was I who met him in the street this morning.（強調主語）

It was him that I met in the street this morning.（強調賓語）

It was in the street that I met him this morning.（強調地點狀語）

It was this morning that I met him in the street.（強調時間狀語）

二、強調句型需要注意的幾點

1.強調主語用人稱代詞主格，強調賓語用賓格。

It was him that they telephoned.

It is I who am wrong.

2.連接詞一般用that，當強調部分是人時，強調主語也可用who，強調賓語也可用whom/who。特別注意當強調部分是時間狀語或地點狀語時，不能用when或where。

It was at the theatre that Lincoln was murdered.

It was on Oct.1st，1949 that people’s Republic of China was founded.

3.若強調部分是句子的主語，則其他部分中的謂語動詞應和強調部分保持人稱和數的一致，即：強調部分是單數，謂語動詞用單數形式；若強調部分是復數，則謂語動詞用復數形式。

It is Tom who of ten helps me with my English.

It is I that am f or you.

It is the boy students of class Two who are playing f ootball on the playground.

4.疑問句中的強調句型。

It was in the classroom that the meeting was held.

→Was it in the classroom that the meeting was held？

What made Tom angry？

→What was it that made Tom angry？5.強調句型與定語從句的區別。

It was at 7 o’clock that I arrived.It was 7 o’clock when I arrived.6.強調句型與主語從句的區別。

It is true that he is honest.

7.強調句型與其他句型的區別。

It is three years since he came here.

It was not long bef ore the f ire was put out.

8.強調句型與定語從句的結合。

It was at midnight when everyone was sleeping that the earthquake happened.

Was it in the house where his grandf ather once lived that they f ound the old picture？

三、強調句型的簡單判斷方法

在“It is/was＋被強調部分＋that/who/whom＋其他部分”這個結構中，如果去掉it is/was和that后，剩余部分仍能組成一個完整的句子，那么，這個句子為強調句型。下面我們來判斷一下幾個句子是否為強調句型：

It was at midnight that he came home.（強調句型）

It was midnight when he came home.（非強調句型）

It is the ability to do the job that matters not where you come f rom or what you are…（強調句型）
