1.談論日期

在詢問日期時，同學們要遵循英語的表達習慣和規律，注意不要受漢語習慣的影響。

When is your birthday？ 你的生日在什么時候？

My birthday is November 13th. 我的生日是11月13日。

When is Mary's birthday？ 瑪麗的生日在什么時候？

Mary's birthday is April 22nd. Mary的生日是4月22日。

How old are you？ 你多大了？

背景知識?

美國、澳大利亞等國在用數字表達年月時，順序一般是月、日、年，如：05042007即為2007年5月4日；而英國、加拿大等國則采用日、月、年的次序，如：05042006即為2006年4月5日，應注意加以區別。我們在書寫日期時最好用英語來表達月份，如：May 1， 2007或1 Sep， 2007。

2.談論喜好?

人們在交往過程中都會自然地流露出喜厭之情、好惡之緒。說話者對某一客觀事物是“喜歡”還是“不喜歡”與其個人的觀點、習慣和興趣是分不開的，因此沒有客觀統一的標準。

He likes documentaries as well as Beijing Opera. 他喜歡京劇，也喜歡紀錄片。

Some people don't like it， but she thinks it is very interesting. 有些人不喜歡它，但她認為它很有趣。
