一、教材分析
本課時是牛津版9A Unit 6 TV programmes Reading 的第一課時“電視節目”,本單元圍繞“TV programems”這個題材開展多種教學活動,它與前幾個單元有著一定的聯系,是從青少年的另一個方面來拓展話題的。

1.教學重點:進一步認識和掌握與電視有關的詞匯和詞組。
2.教學難點:把學生的偏好和時間安排與電視節目匹配起來。
五、 教學方法
通過任務型閱讀教學法,由淺入深、由易到難,由一直到未知,循序漸進地深化教學內容。展開以教師為主導、以學生為主體的師生雙邊活動。
六、 教學過程
Step 1 Free talk
Have a free talk with the students. Revise something learned
T: How many hours of TV do you watch every day?
What is your favorite TV programmes?
What is your favorite host?

Step2 Presentation
1. Ask students whether they plan their TV viewing or if they just switch the TV on when they find information about which programmes are on and what the programmes are about.
2. Explain the context of the reading passage.
T: Millie is looking on the internet to learn more about some TV programmes.
3. Play the tape and students read after it.
Ask students if they have ever watched such programmes.
4. Teacher puts forward some questions for students to answer to check their understanding.
5. Ask Ss some questions to check their understanding
Step3 Practice
1. Ask students to put forward their own questions and discuss in class.
2. Encourage students to think them over
3. Ask Ss to find out the language points they dont know and try to explain them
4. Ask some of them to read the paragraphs and summarize the main ideas.
5. Sum up:
To identify statements as true or false based on the reading passage.
Step 4 Exercises &Homework
Use PPT to show some exercises.
七、教學反思
本課以素質教育為目的,結合教材重、難點及英語學科特點,利用多媒體輔助教學,從視、聽、說等方面讓學生得到鍛煉,在愉快、輕松的氛圍中溫故而知新,達到初步運用英語交際的能力。由于缺少經驗,在教學過程程難免會出現不足,請各位老師不吝賜教。
