Abstract：In recent years， the development of all kinds of new and high technology has brought smart clothing to the reality from the concept. It also shows us the opportunities and challenges brought by the development of science and technology to the garment industry. The development of intelligent clothing in the future， while paying attention to scientific and functional and functional， should emphasize the humanization of the product， so as to truly "people-oriented".

Smart clothing， also known as smart functional clothing， refers to clothing with dual functions of perception and response. It can not only perceive changes in external environment or internal state， but also respond to such changes in real time through feedback mechanism.

1. main categories of intelligent clothing

Intelligent clothing is different from traditional clothing. It is a cross boundary product with multi-disciplinary cross characteristics. According to the different audience groups， mainly applied for a special occupation， the sick and elderly population safety protection， sports sports， health care in the field of health management and the pursuit of life of leisure and entertainment， in addition to 3D printing technology or VR under the support of other types of intelligence clothing.

2. research status of intelligent clothing

Since the emergence of smart clothing， it has been mostly used as the carrier of the realization of the value of science and technology. The main concern is wearable devices， and intelligent R &； D is relatively weak， so the research and development progress is relatively slow. At the same time， subject to technology， the development of smart clothing is still mainly developed by some universities， research institutes and enterprises. Traditional clothing enterprises have rarely dabbled in smart clothing， nor have they been industrialized. Although there is no AI master designer， no matter how many fashion circles it is， there are a lot of pioneering designers who embrace technology. Such as the use of optical fiber and high-intensity LED lights to finish the Zac Posen of the American designer， the Transforming Dress Hussein Chalayan with special surface water soluble fabric or shape memory fabric. So far， smart clothing has achieved the function of "communication" and "individual monitoring". Small and flexible fabric sensors and flexible fabric circuit boards have also made great progress. 3. problems in intelligent clothing

The function realization of smart clothing is usually based on fiber or fabric textile technology， fabric coating technology or electronic components， sensing devices and other clothing directly together. The emphasis on function makes it lack of fashion sense and high price. At the same time， subject to technical reasons， the degree of perfection of function is not enough， the technical difficulties and clothing with original electronic device and sensing the breakthrough， the lack of material flexibility so that it does not have good wear resistance， the data resources are not reasonable use of the function of intelligent clothing lack validity， can bring better user experience， low stickiness.

4. development direction of intelligent clothing

Intelligent clothing should provide the users with intelligent analysis， decision support and feedback control on the premise of ensuring the comfort of clothing. This requires that the components of the product have the characteristics of micro， light， and good concealment， and seek the pleasing of the design to avoid the feeling of foreign products.

Smart clothing can not be assigned to its function only for the sense of technology. It should be precise and specialized. Users can manipulate products conveniently through simple interaction ways， and really solve the core problems of their concerns， improve work efficiency and quality of life. At the same time also cannot ignore the needs of the user's mental and emotional needs， designers need to use artistic means to weaken the technology of ice and the human sense of distance feeling， make the products more humane and intelligent.
