一、教材分析

本話題是九年級第六單元第一個話題的第一課時，主活動為1a，以Michael與康康關于中國象棋的對話展開，通過對個人愛好的談論，引出了對于各類的電視節目的談論。并在談論時，運用prefer和would rather ...than...等句型來表達了各自不同的喜好。通過本課的學習，學生將進一步提高自己的聽說技能，敢于用英語表達自己對電視節目的不同看法。

二、教學目標

知識目標：

學習并掌握常用的詞和短語。

詞：actress，

短語：play Chinese chess， in one’s free time， would rather…than…，

固定句型：It+adj+for/of s.b+to do s.t h

2.語法：掌握would rather... than...句型并能熟練運用。

技能目標：

能聽懂有關電視節目的對話，并能夠提取有用信息;

能用英語談論一些電視節目。

能聽懂有關愛好的對話，并可以用英語簡單的談論自己的愛好。

情感態度：

培養學生自主學習的意識，并通過用英語表達對電視節目的不同看法來激發學生使用英語的興趣。

學習策略：

能運用圖片和問題預測關鍵詞。

六、教學過程

Step1：導入新課

教師以What do you often do in your free time？來詢問學生的業余愛好，激發學生學習興趣。

E g：? T： What do you often do in your free time？

S1： I like reading.

S2： I like playing Tiktok（抖音）.

S3： I like playing basketball...

教師引領：

T： Do you? like watching TV ，S4？

S4：Yes，I like it very much .

T：What program do you like better，TV Plays or Children’s Programs？

S4：I like TV Plays better.

S5：I prefer Children’s Programs.（用熟悉的表達喜愛的方式引出本課的重點句型like...better和 prefer...來表達自己偏愛的節目）

Step2：講授新課。

1.（教師引導）T：Very Good！OK，look at the pictures！Do you know what programs they are？（展示與2a相關的電視節目的圖片，激發學生的求知欲。讓學生根據常識猜測節目名稱，完成2a部分短語的翻譯和配對。）

2.教師核對答案并領讀短語。

3.展示2b.學生兩人一組運用2b的范例進行對話練習，根據圖片談論自己喜歡的電視節目。

4.教師引導學生關注能夠表達自己喜好的句型結構，并板書。如：

prefer...????????????? 更喜歡...

?prefer doing? to doing .

would rather do ?than do.?? 比起做 ...更愿意做 .../寧愿做... 也 不愿做 ...

5.請2-3組學生呈現并展示他們的對話。為1a的聽力打基礎。

Step3：學習新知

1.呈現1b表格，引導學生做好聽前的預習，確定關鍵詞，根據2b的短語猜測所填內容。

2.播放1a聽力（兩遍）），學生完成1b。

3.師生核對1b答案。

4.學生小組學習1a，完成老師展示的問題。

6.師生小結。

小結would rather ...than ...的用法，并進行拓展練習。

→would rather do than do 比起做 ...更愿意做 .../寧愿做... 也不愿做 ...

Eg： a. Li Lei would rather run than swim.

b. I would rather play basketball than football.

（觀察題1和2的不同）

結論：前后動詞一致時，為了避免重復，后面的動詞可以省略。

Step4.課堂練習。

I would rather???? （play）chess than ????（watch）TV.

Wang Li would rather????? （read）books.
