歌頌你——親愛的中國共產黨

馬克·力文（Mark H.Levine，美國），博士，中央民族大學教授，中國政府友誼獎和北京“長城友誼獎”獲得者。美國鄉村音樂人、社會學家、作家，創作了近80首關于中國生活的歌曲，出版了Singing My China Stories to the World（《向世界唱我的中國故事》）等圖書。

2021年，為紀念中國共產黨成立100周年，我寫了一首歌，名為《歌頌你——親愛的中國共產黨》。歌詞簡要回顧了黨史，開頭是：“中華人民共和國宣告成立，繼往開來的精神始終奮勇向前。國家領導人和全國人民深知，沒有什么能將這個偉大民族的斗志搖撼。”

10月16日上午，我和其他數億人一起收聽收看了中國共產黨第二十次全國代表大會開幕會。習近平主席講述了中國共產黨經歷過的一些挑戰，以及黨和人民如何勠力同心，在眾多領域中共同戰勝前進道路上的各種挑戰，依靠頑強斗爭打開事業發展新天地。

他還談及未來為全面建設社會主義現代化國家所要采取的行動。并強調，這些行動必須牢牢扎根于馬克思主義，立足于科學理論，并在實踐中得到落實。

當我聽到大會講述中國的過去、現在以及未來時，我堅信在中國共產黨的領導下，中國的前途是光明的。

In 2021 I wrote a song called “The Future’s Very Bright Ahead Led by the CPC” in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.Briefly reviewing the history of the Party one verse begins “With the founding of the PRC,the struggle did not end.The people and their leaders understood they could not bend.”

In the morning of October 16,along with hundreds of million of others I watched President Xi Jinping’s opening address to the 20th CPC National Congress.He began by recounting some of the challenges that were faced by the Party and how the Party and people stood together in strong resolve not merely to overcome them but,in fact,to move beyond them.This was done in so many areas.

Moving on in his report,President Xi Jinping spoke to the future and the steps to be done to build a modern socialist country in all respect.He stressed that these steps must be flrmly rooted in Marxism and located in scientiflc theory that is carried out in practice.

As I listened to President Xi Jinping’s recounting of the past that has gotten us to the present and will carry China forward to the future,I have no doubt that under CPC leadership,the future truly is bright ahead.
