本節課選自外延版初一下(Unit1《I’m watering the new trees》)
教材分析
本課是圍繞“學生日常活動……如何種樹”這個話題展開的,內容緊密結合中學生的日常生活,讓學生如何用簡單的英語來描素正在做某事的步驟,練習現在進行時這一語法項目,同時培養學生的動手能力與合作能力。引導學生關注環境保護。
教學目標
知識與技能:學習重點詞匯tool ,hill,、動詞短語及其ing 形式planting the trees, watering the new trees, digging the holes in the ground, carrying the trees . 能熟練的運用行為動詞的進行時描述日常活動
過程與方法:自主與合作、表達與交流、研究與發展。任務型教學貫穿始終。
情感態度與價值觀:學會與人交流、與人合作,樹立勞動最光榮的責任感。
教學重點難點
重點:正確使用行為動詞的進行時表達自己的想法。
難點:動詞短語ing 形式的讀音。運用所學闡述某一動作。
教學過程
Step1 . Warm up (熱身)
活動一:口語練習
教學參考時間: 3 分鐘
○1Describe a passage about Jim’s family, everyone is busy.
○2Ask some questions according to the passage.
E g : 1.what is he doing?
2.What is his father doing?
3.Is his cat sitting in the tree ?.....
(設計說明:教師就學生所學過的內容或當時情景描述一個情形,讓學生復述并回答其中的問題,目的在于運用語言。借助身邊的活動,是學生盡快進入學習英語的氛圍中,即是熱身又是鋪墊,用問題牽引學生思考,引導學生主動學習。)
Step 2 . Review
活動二:師生交流
教學參考時間: 4分鐘
○1Show some pictures of students’ activities, says :Look at these pictures, watch them carefully , say what they are doing.
Eg: what is he/she doing?Is he /she skipping?
Now you can say :Yes, he is. orNo, he isn’t.
○2Go on showing some more picture, ask them to say :draw a picture. open the door, sing a song, play badminton,plant a tree…
○3Ask:what day is Tree Planting Day?
(設計說明:師生就所學知識進行交流,主要使用表示能力的句型,目的在于復習動詞短語。用學生感興趣的的話題引出新的知識,使學生快速進入狀態)
Step 3. Presentation (呈現新知)
活動三:詞匯學習
教學參考時間:18分鐘
○1Learn the new words :hill, tool, dig a hole, carry some trees, put some trees into the hole , water the new trees.
○2Correct the wrong pronunciation
○3Watch the flash ,there are the following phrases:
1.fly a kite 2 skipping3.playing football4.watering the trees, 5.walking up the hill6.reading a book 7. carrying some books8.digging a hole.
○4play the tape and ask :which phrase is mentioned in the passage ? find it.
(設計說明:通過這一練習,很容易對所學的內容有一個初步的了解,并進一步掌握本課的詞匯。)
活動四:整體理解
教學參考時間:5 分鐘
Play the tape ,have the Ss read as quickly as possible, play the tape again ,discuss the following questions.
○1What is Gu Ming doing ?
○2Is Li Qing writing the numbers for the trees?
○3Who’s writing the numbers for the trees?
活動五:和作討論
教學參考時間:5分鐘
T: Now do you know how you plant a tree ?Have them write down.
S: There are four steps ,they are
○1Carrying the trees up the hill.
○2Dig a hole for the tree.
○3Put the trees in the holes.
○4Water the new trees.
(設計說明:利用所學的知識,學會及時梳理,提高學生的運用語言與交流的能力。)
Step 4. Let’sact.
活動六:生活再現
教學參考時間:5分鐘
○1Ask students to act some activities of planting trees, the other students to guess what he\\she is doing .
○2The teacher gives the student the tools and asks:
What are you doing? Lead the student to do while he is acting.:I am carrying a tree.\\digging a hole\\ putting a tree in the hole \\watering the trees。
(設計說明:訓練學生手腳腦并用,培養學生處理語言、輸出語言的能力,學以致用。)
Step 5. Language points: Solve the problems in the passage.
Sum up the language box:
1.water vt .給… 澆水
Eg: he is watering the flowers.
n.(u) 水
Eg; there is some water in the glass.
2. on the ground \\ in the ground
Eg:A pen is on the ground .
A hole is in the ground.
Eg : a door in the wall , a window in the wall .
Step 6、Practise
Do Exercise 2.3 in the students’ book,check the answers with the students.
