Step 1. Lead-in.(導入)
1.T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello, Miss Mao.
T: Before the class today, I want to share some videos and pictures with you. Do you want have a look?
S: Yes!
(展示學生們在學校、老年公寓和福利院活動、演出的視頻片段和照片。)
T: Look! He can do kung fu. She can dance…She can draw pictures for the children. Who are they, these lovely boys and girls? You! Yes. You can do so many things. Sometimes you do them for other people. Im so proud of you.
(通過學生日?;顒拥恼鎸嵰曨l、圖片創設真實的語言情境,滲透并引出今天的話題。觀看的視頻最后定格在一位同學陪小朋友們畫畫的頁面,為后面單詞呈現埋下伏筆。)
Step 2. Presentation and practice.(呈現和操練)
1. draw cartoons
T: You can do many things. What about Mike? Please watch the video and find out the answer.
S: He can draw cartoons.
T: Yes! Do you know cartoons? Look! I can draw cartoons. Follow me please. dr-aw car-toons

(通過觀看課本視頻,引出新詞組;通過教師板書畫卡通畫幫助學生理解cartoons,最后分音節教讀詞組 )
2. do kung fu
呈現導入環節最后定格的畫面。
T: This girl can draw cartoons, too. What can she draw? Look!
S: A panda!/功夫熊貓!
T: Yes. What can this panda do? Look!
PPT出示功夫熊貓動態功夫圖。
He can do kung fu.
板書、領讀
(承接前面的視頻信息,從已呈現的新詞組draw caroons 過渡到cartoon的內容,順勢引出do kung fu,環節之間絲絲入扣,讓學生帶著發現新信息的趣味在不知不覺中學習新知。)
3. dance
T: Lets review the phrases. OK?
S: OK!
T: Lets do and say together.
I can do kung fu. I can draw cartoons. I can draw cartoons. I can do kung fu.
S: No!
T: No? Then what can I do?
S: Dance!
板書、鞏固讀。
(學過兩個詞組后,教師帶著學生邊說句子邊做動作進行鞏固練習,說到最后一句I can do kung fu.時教師不做武術動作,而是故意做舞蹈動作,學生忽然發現老師說做不一致,興奮指出老師的錯誤,dance一詞自然解決。)
4. play the pipa
T: You can read well. Let me challenge your ears. Please listen and tell me what they can do.
(小游戲:根據聲音猜動作并搶答。聲音有三種:畫畫時鉛筆與畫板的摩擦聲、練功夫的背景音樂及琵琶舞曲。三種聲音交替快速播放,學生聽到相應聲音搶答對應的詞匯,既鞏固前三個重點詞匯,又為引出新詞做好鋪墊。)
最后一個搶答音設置為琵琶舞曲,搶答完成后教師提出問題。
T: Do you like this music?
S: Yes!
T: A, B, C, D, which one does this music come from?
S: B.
T: Yes! Its the pipa.
板書、領讀。
T: Who can play the pipa?
S1:I can play the pipa.
T: I hope you can play for us one day.

(通過琵琶曲,讓學生自分辨出樂器pipa,通過pipa擴展到其他中國傳統樂器,引導學生熱愛中國傳統樂器,欣賞美妙的音樂。再進一步將play開頭的詞組從樂器擴展到球類,讓學生觀察并發現兩者之間的差別,語言點的學習在教師的步步引導和學生的自主學習中完成。)
5. sing English songs
T: Boys and girls, you did a good job. So I have a song for you. I can sing an English song for you!
S: Yeah!
T sings an English song for the students.
T: Can you sing English songs? Yes? Who can sing English songs for us?
S: I can sing English songs.

6. Listen and repeat.
(跟讀全部核心詞匯和句子。)
7. Practice.
(1) Look and say.(看圖,說詞。)
(2) Look and read.(看詞,認讀。)
(3) Match the pictures and words.(圖詞配。)
(4)Have a competition.(兩人比一比,看誰20秒內說的句子多。)
(本部分針對核心詞匯的操練活動運用板書完成。本節課的板書由簡筆畫和詞匯磁條組成。在操練前,教師將寫有核心詞匯的磁條移動到黑板其他位置,將其與相對應的簡筆畫分離開。
任務(1)鞏固詞匯的理解和讀音;任務(2)鞏固詞匯認讀;任務(3)檢驗學生對詞匯的掌握。三個任務步步深入,有效的幫助學生整體鞏固所學詞匯。任務(4)是針對核心句子What can you do? I can…的操練,本項操練活動讓學生緊張興奮起來,讓他們在鞏固核心句子的同時,進一步調出腦海中的詞匯信息,一舉兩得,這樣的快速操練為后面的拓展活動做好了鋪墊。)
Step 3: Extension. (拓展)
1. Choose the useful activity you want to do.
T: Boys and girls, you can do many things. Sometimes you can do something and make others as happy as you. So lets make a plan in this class and do something for other people on the weekend. Ok?
S: OK!
T: So where do you want to go? You can go to the NH and do something for the old people. You can go to the WH. Also you can go to the park. Please discuss in your groups and choose one place quickly.
