在“閱讀+課程”研究框架下，我校英語組積極響應“讓讀書成為我們的第四餐”的龍川閱讀口號，積極踐行英語閱讀行動計劃，倡導學生每周閱讀英語課外書籍不少于1小時，3～6年級每周2節英語晨讀課，每周1節英語導讀課。以英語導讀課研究為課程開發的主陣地，探索學生課外自主閱讀與教師課內導讀相結合的閱讀策略，有效進行閱讀方法、技巧的指導，努力達成學生愛閱讀、會閱讀的良好局面。對于各個年級段的指導，我們的側重點是不一樣的：中年級我們注重學生興趣的激發，強化誦讀與體悟，高年級我們側重學生的感悟與表達。在不同的閱讀中為孩子的每一天注入新鮮的活力。吉老師執教的內容是我校英語閱讀工程選用的三年級閱讀繪本Floppy and the bone。

這個故事講述了Floppy和他的朋友們外出散步，Floppy 在路途中看見骨頭，搶到骨頭，叼著骨頭一路從小山、叢林奔跑到小橋上。然后他發現水里也有一只叼著骨頭的狗，他也想要那只骨頭，于是他跳進了水里，最后他卻什么也沒有得到。這是一篇很好的閱讀材料，這個故事告訴我們人不能貪得無厭的道理。

吉老師從pre reading，while-reading 到post-reading設計了這節課，讀前設計一個30秒的Floppy自述，在這個自述前和學生進行有關Floppy 信息的Free talk，幫助學生有效自述。讀中，吉老師設置層層推進的閱讀任務，讓學生讀懂繪本故事。通過predict，scan，observe，listen，read，look，circle，guess等活動設置不同難度、不同層次的問題，幫助學生擴展閱讀思維，提高閱讀技巧，提高閱讀質量，提高閱讀速度和效率，有效提高閱讀能力。讀后，設計了read and have a jigsaw puzzle，通過學生讀自己的片段，再組內分享自己的片段，最后小組合作拼圖，而這個拼圖呈現的正是閱讀文本中的“大骨頭”，這個教學環節設計是一個亮點，創新，新穎，能激發學生的閱讀興趣，提高學生閱讀的積極性，增強學生的小組合作意識。
