Application and Development of Computer Communication Technology

【Abstract】： With the development of science and technology， computer has become an indispensable part of our life. Computer technology has also become an important cornerstone of all walks of life. Computer communication technology is a combination of computer technology and communication technology. The new type of communication， mainly to meet the needs of communication. In order to realize the communication system formed by the sharing of resources in the communication process， it connects the computer， the terminal and its affiliated equipment with the communication link， and is equipped with the corresponding network software. This paper introduces the computer-based communication technology and its development prospects.

With the development of science and technology， computer technology is also constantly moving forward， all areas of information management are based on computer implementation. Communication means sending and receiving information. Computer communication is a way of data communication among a computer and another computer or computer and terminal equipment， it's purpose is to achieve different regions of the computer resource sharing and information exchange and improve the speed of information dissemination. At present， the computer network and data communication is developing rapidly， all countries through the establishment of industrial data communication network to share the various database resources and network equipment resources， so as to achieve rapid development of high-tech purposes. The online search technology which based on the Computer communication， database technology has been widely used in information services. Computer network communication system is a significant symbol of the progress of the information society，which occupies its important position in information processing and transmission.

1.The characteristics of computer communication

Computer communication can achieve information exchange and data transmission， compared with the traditional telephone-based communication， it mainly has the following characteristics：

1.1 Computer communication is suitable for multimedia communication， it uses binary signal transmit and reproduce images， text， language and other information， so computer communication technology has a strong anti-interference ability， and also can achieve encryption processing.

1.2 In a language simulation information， the rate of data is about 2400bit / s， 18，000 characters can be transmitted per minute， and in a digital information， the data rate is about 64kbit / s， 48 million characters can be transmitted per minute，so we can easily find that the efficiency of digital information transmission is much higher than the transmission efficiency of analog information.

1.3 The average time of computer communication call is short， only from the time required to establish a call， the time of establishing telephone communication call is about 10 times the time of establishing computer communication call.
