人教PEP小學(xué)五年級下冊Unit 3 My birthday第五課時圍繞“生日話題”來展開教學(xué)活動。要求學(xué)生能掌握12個月份的詞匯并能用句型“When is your birthday？”來交流自己的生日信息。本課是建立在前四個課時基本掌握了本單元的月份詞匯和序數(shù)詞的基礎(chǔ)上，以拓展中西方文化為背景，強(qiáng)調(diào)語言運(yùn)用，以birthday date為主線，追求簡潔、質(zhì)樸、高效的課堂作為設(shè)計(jì)原則。

在教學(xué)中我圍繞能夠聽懂、會說句子：Whats the date？ Its October 1st. Who has a birthday in October？ 完成Lets try… 部分聽錄音找圖片的練習(xí)作為教學(xué)目標(biāo)，選定了多媒體輔助法、實(shí)物教學(xué)法來呈現(xiàn)新知，激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和求知欲；采用游戲、小組合作法和真實(shí)情境創(chuàng)設(shè)法來突破重難點(diǎn)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言實(shí)踐能力。

通過對教材的解讀，對學(xué)生的理解和教法的選定，我的整個教學(xué)流程是：熱身——新授——鞏固和拓展——總結(jié)延伸四個環(huán)節(jié)。

在教學(xué)過程安排上，我首先在熱身環(huán)節(jié)安排了以復(fù)習(xí)十二月份單詞為內(nèi)容的Lets chant。目的是：一方面活躍課堂氣氛，調(diào)節(jié)學(xué)生情緒，第二是為新知作好鋪墊。整個環(huán)節(jié)注重短、平、快，花最少的時間讓學(xué)生進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)。

接下來在新授環(huán)節(jié)中設(shè)計(jì)如下內(nèi)容：

T： What season is it now？

S1： Its spring.

T： Whats the date today？

S2： Its April 2.

T： Do you know when Miss Liu and Miss Xus birthday is？ I can tell you， Miss Xus birthday is May 5th. Is your birthday in May？

S3： No，my birthday is in October.

通過這組師生對話，既復(fù)習(xí)了以前的基本句型，又聯(lián)系了本課的新內(nèi)容，起到了承上啟下、自然過渡的功能。

在Presentation環(huán)節(jié)中，教師設(shè)計(jì)問題Lets look at the four pictures， whats the date in the first/second/third/fourth picture？學(xué)生可以從以下幾方面作答：S1： Its October 1；S2： Its June 2；S3： Its August 1；S4： Its January 8th.

接下來，教師設(shè)計(jì)問題Lets listen to the tape and find out when is Wang Jianjuns birthday.教師順勢解釋國慶節(jié)、建軍節(jié)成為名字的原因。

為了鍛煉學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力，拓展和延伸知識，培養(yǎng)活學(xué)活用的能力，讓學(xué)生聯(lián)系實(shí)際回歸到課文人物中來，在真實(shí)情景中改編對話。教師和同學(xué)相互提問：

T： Is your birthday in October？

S1： Yes/No， my birthday is in... Is your birthday in xxx？

S2： Yes/No， my birthday is in... Is your birthday in xxx？

S4： ...

T： OK. Lets listen to the tape and find out when is Sarah and Zhang Pengs birthday.

在鞏固和拓展環(huán)節(jié)，我設(shè)計(jì)了聽音樂猜節(jié)日的游戲來激發(fā)學(xué)生的求知欲，目的是把重心放在如何促進(jìn)學(xué)生“學(xué)”，達(dá)到對所學(xué)的句型操練鞏固新知的目的。

最后，課堂教學(xué)總結(jié)，拓展延伸。對同學(xué)和親友，用Who has a birthday in March？ Whats the date？ What about you？ Is your birthday in March， too？ 等句型來提問，將具體日期記下，并制作表格。

以上片段教學(xué)，通過創(chuàng)設(shè)較真實(shí)的情景和語境，不僅激發(fā)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，同時還提升了學(xué)生聽說讀寫綜合能力。
