[Abstract] Objective To investigate the clinical effect of high ligation combined with point exfoliation in the treatment of great saphenous vein. Methods All the subjects in this study were selected from 76 patients who were convenient treated in the hospital from January 2015 to June 2018. The single and double numbers according to the date of admission were divided into experimental group (n=38) and control group (n= 38). The control group was treated with traditional surgery. The experimental group was treated with high ligation combined with point exfoliation. The effect of the patients after treatment was compared and analyzed. Results In the experimental group, the intraoperative blood loss, operation time, hospitalization time, and time of getting out of bed were all better than the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant (t=10.804, 14.572, 1.301, 8.843; P=0.000). The total effective rate of the experimental group was 92.31%, which was higher than 64.10% of the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant (χ2=9.101, P=0.003). The experimental group and the control group were on the VAS, CIVIQ and VCSS scores. There was no significant difference before operation (t=0.161, 0.218, 0.765; P=0.872, 0.872, 0.447). The difference was statistically significant after surgery (t=12.361, 4.382, 12.017; P=0.000); The incidence rate was lower in the experimental group (7.69%) than in the control group (25.64%), and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (χ2=4.523, P=0.033). Conclusion For patients with saphenous varices, the clinical effect of high ligation combined with point sparing is significant. The operation is simple, the operation time is short, the complications are less, and the safety is high, which can effectively improve the rate of recovery after surgery.
