本課出自人教版小學英語(三年級起)五年級下冊第六單元,主要內容是Sarah和Robin參加世界機器人博覽會并與來自不同國家的機器人展開對話。本課分為讀和寫兩個部分:第一部分要求學生閱讀對話,復習、鞏固本單元重點詞匯和句型;第二部分要求學生根據文中的信息完成句子填空練習。教學中,執教者采用“三步七環節”英語閱讀課教學模式,巧妙利用多媒體信息技術輔助教學,提高了教學效率。
Step 1:leading In
一、課前復習:借用技術,激發興趣
1. Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls!
Ss:Hello,Miss Zheng!
T:Today Ill take some new friends here. They are our friends. They can do many things. They look like the men but they neednt eat or drink. Can you guess?Who are they?Please press your panel computer as quickly as you can.
Ss:They are robots.
T:Yes!Theyre robots.

Ss:Yes!

【評析】恰當的教學導入能夠激發學生的學習興趣。執教者通過“猜一猜”“一起唱歌”等方式,與學生互動,拉近了師生之間的距離,活躍了課堂氛圍。機器人是學生非常感興趣的話題,為了抓住學生的興趣點,執教者利用與學習主題相關的歌曲、動畫,為學生創設了一個美好的視聽體驗情境。

【評析】《義務教育英語課程標準(2011年版)》二級目標關于“讀”的要求是,能夠借助圖片讀懂簡單的故事或小短文。授課中,執教者讓學生略讀文本,觀察圖片,感知故事大意,滲透了英語閱讀策略,而有目的的略讀能夠讓學生在短時間內把握文章主題,了解課文內容。執教者通過“電子書包”下發選擇題,讓學生利用關鍵信息作出選擇,培養了學生的讀圖能力和捕捉細節信息的能力。
四、新知再現:利用技術,尋找細節

【評析】英語教學要讓學生理解外國文化,拓寬文化視野,形成跨文化意識。執教者將跨文化意識滲透到教學中,有利于學生在閱讀語篇時體會外國文化的魅力。執教者依托世界機器人展覽這一情境,為學生提供相類似的文本進行拓展閱讀,及時檢驗了學生對閱讀方法的掌握和運用情況。

【總評】
1.視頻激趣,文化滲透。在英語教學中,隨著閱讀難度的增加,學生會慢慢失去最初的閱讀興趣和學習積極性。運用多媒體信息技術營造輕松愉快的課堂氛圍和較為真實的語言情境,能夠激發學生的學習興趣。比如,執教者制作了與學習主題相關的機器人視頻,融合了與課文內容相關的知識導入教學,既復習了舊知“現在進行時態”,又引出了本課的學習主題“Robot(機器人)”。另外,執教者還制作了5個外國文化視頻,向學生滲透學習外國文化的意識。
2.平板助力,互動課堂。借助網絡信息技術開展教學,有助于實現移動設備教師端和學生端的有效互動,及時反饋學生的學習效果。授課中,執教者使用平板學習機,利用其具有快捷下發、及時反饋、智能批改等功能開展教學,實現了課堂教學的智能化,增加了教學的趣味性。
3.巧用Focusky軟件創設情境。利用Focusky軟件營造世界機器人展覽館的情境,為學生提供了良好的語言學習情境。在Focusky軟件中插入機器人視頻和外國文化視頻,使課堂教學變得直觀、高效。
閱讀課是小學英語教學的重要課型之一。教學中教師要善于借助多媒體信息技術激發學生的閱讀興趣,滲透閱讀策略和文化意識,提升學生的思維品質和語用能力,實現閱讀教學的目標。
