一、教材分析
這單元介紹的是飲食習慣,旨在讓學生明白什么是健康的飲食習慣以及健康飲食的重要性。鼓勵學生檢查日常飲食是否健康。本篇文章詞匯量較大,且大部分學生對飲食與健康關系了解較少。因此,本文的學習難度較大。
二、學情分析
本節課的授課對象是高一的學生。他們能夠讀懂文章的大概意思。但是,要恰當運用英語詞匯表達自己的看法,以及通過英語文章的閱讀獲取相關信息對于高一學生有一定困難。
三、教學目標
1.通過本課時的學習,學生能夠讀懂課文大意,掌握與將康飲食有關的重點詞匯。
2.使學生學會通過略讀,尋找文章的主題句,通過查讀,捕捉文章的重要細節理解作者的寫作意圖,從而提高閱讀理解能力。
3.使學生意識到健康飲食的重要性,只有飲食健康,才能有健康的身體,因此,我們要養成健康且平衡的飲食習慣。
四、教學重點及難點
1.掌握有關營養成分與食物的詞匯以及這些營養成分的來源和主要功能。
2.使學生養成科學的閱讀習慣,提高閱讀理解能力和語言水平。
五、教學方法
1.以任務型教學為主,強調教學方法的靈活性和多樣性。
2.采取小組合作的方法,培養學生的合作精神。
六、教學過程
Step 1.Leading-in and Warming-up
1.First show the students some pictures of dishes to introduce the ? ? ? ? topic of this unit.
2.T:What do you usually have for breakfast/lunch/supper?What is your favourite food?Can you give the reasons?
3.Ask Ss to discuss with their partners and divide the food into three groups.

設計意圖:通過談論飲食,從而引入本單元的話題:Healthy eating。
Step2 Pre-reading
Get the students to discuss the questions with their partners in this part.Then ask them to report their work.this part will help the students understand the text.
As we know,a healthy diet is very important to us.If we dont have the right diet in our daily life,there will be something wrong with us sooner or later.Now lets read a story related to the diet.
設計意圖:通過“讀前”部分設計的討論題,激發學生的閱讀興趣,訓練學生的閱讀技巧。
Step3 Reading
1.Guessing
Make a guess according to the title before reading.
Where are you invited to go?
What foods are you offered there?
2.Skimming and Scanning
1)Read fast to prove your guess.
2)Finish the table
3)Give Ss 2 minutes to summarize the main idea of the story.
4)How many parts can this passage be divided into?Whats the general idea of each part?
設計意圖:培養學生快速捕捉文章大意、把握文章主要信息的能力。
3.Detail reading
1)Read the text carefully and decide the following sentences are true or not.
(1)Yong Hui served a balanced diet.(F)

(3)Wang Peng decided to copy Yong Huis menu.(F)
Step 4 ?Pair and Group Discussion
Until now we have known whats wrong with both restaurants.Next discuss in pairs:
1.Who will win the competition at last?Give your reasons.
2.Please think of a way to help them put end to their competition.
3.Work in groups to design a sign for the new restaurant.
設計意圖:通過本環節讓學生預測單元話題內容,加深對課文內容的理解;而通過讓學生自己設計一個飯店的招牌,達到讓學生運用已學知識進行創新的能力并培養學生的合作意識。

八、教學反思
1.本堂課在教學設計上,從學生的興趣和生活經驗出發,采取合作與交流的學習方式,培養學生的閱讀能力,注重學生全面發展和個體差異的統一,閱讀任務設計由淺入深,符合學生的認知特點。基本達到了教學目標。
2.本課在思維拓展,話題討論的處理上,時間略顯倉促,學生未能有充分的時間思考、準備。
