普通高等院校數學專業英語教學模式探討

摘? 要：針對普通高等院校數學專業英語教學存在的問題，分析了數學專業英語課程的特點以及教學過程中存在的問題，并對相應問題的解決提出思路。為了提高教學質量應以人為本，正確引導，充分調動學生的學習興趣，提升學生的積極性;改革教學方法，創造良好的學習氛圍;鼓勵學生參加實踐活動;完善考核評價體系等方面進行改造。

Abstract： In view of the problems existing in the teaching of English for Mathematics Major in colleges and universities， this paper analyses the characteristics of English for Mathematics Major and the problems existing in the teaching process， and puts forward some ideas for solving the corresponding problems. In order to improve teaching quality， we should put people first， guide correctly， fully mobilize students' interest in learning and enhance their enthusiasm， reform teaching methods to create a good learning atmosphere， encourage students to participate in practical activities， improve the evaluation system and other aspects of reform.

引言

為了適應國家教育部在《大學英語教學大綱》中的要求，很多高校都開設了數學專業英語課程。專業英語將英語知識與實際應用緊緊聯系在一起，在學科建設中起著橋梁的作用[1，2]。據統計，全世界的數學文獻有70%左右是使用英語撰寫的，許多新的研究成果也往往以英語的形式出版。另外，學生在學習過程中，為了更好地提升自身的專業水平，也會查閱相應的一些英文資料、發表論文或者參加國際學術會議等都需要學習專業英語課程才能更順利地進行。數學專業英語課程擔負著促使學生英語能力從學習階段向應用階段過渡的任務，是全球化背景下培養應用型本科人才必不可少的重要環節。

對于普通二本院校的學生而言，本身公共英語學的就不夠扎實，詞匯量不夠，同英語教學結合后，專業術語多、長難句多，學生更難調動學習積極性，致使教學效果普遍不理想[3，4]。教學實踐表明，要解決這個問題，需要從學生入手，從課程的特點、存在的問題進行分析，明確教學的目標，改革現有的教學模式、評價方法，學以致用充分激發學生學習的興趣。……
