Changsha is one of those rare cities which blends deep cultural roots with a modern， energetic vibe; it is becoming a magnet for young people. Growing numbers of them are settling here， calling it their “second home”chasing their startup dreams，or simply finding their version of happiness.For these young people， Changshais not justa place to work， it is where their dreams begin to grow.This is a city in which they are growing alongside the city itself，and writing their own amazing life stories.

對(duì)在長(zhǎng)沙的年輕人來(lái)說(shuō)，社區(qū)不僅是居住的場(chǎng)所，更是心靈的棲息地。當(dāng)“青春”遇上“社區(qū)”，年輕人在長(zhǎng)沙找到了家的溫暖和歸屬感。

26歲的小陳是長(zhǎng)沙市芙蓉區(qū)一家裝飾公司的職員，目前租住在識(shí)字里社區(qū)。工作日，他在市中心的寫字樓里埋頭工作；閑暇之余，作為社區(qū)“雷小鋒”志愿者，他會(huì)陪房東杜奶奶散步、看病、參加社區(qū)活動(dòng)，還會(huì)細(xì)心地教老人使用智能手機(jī)。

Chen，26-year-old，works at a decorating company in FurongDistrict， Changsha，and currently rents an apartment in the Shizili Community. On weekdaysheisbusyworking hardina downtown office，butwhenhefinisheswork，hebecomesa“Lei Xiaofeng community volunteer”spending time with hiselderly landlady，Grandma Du.He takes her for walks，accompanies her to medical appointments， joins her at community events，and even patiently teaches her how to usea smartphone.

小陳的生活日常正是無(wú)數(shù)參與識(shí)字里社區(qū)“以伴減租”活動(dòng)的安居青年的縮影：年輕人通過志愿服務(wù)的形式為老人提供幫助，以此抵扣部分或全部房租。這種互助模式減輕了剛就業(yè)年輕人的經(jīng)濟(jì)壓力，更重要的是，讓他們與社區(qū)里的老人建立了深厚的情感紐帶，實(shí)現(xiàn)了日常生活中的相互幫助與支持。

Chen's daily routine is a perfect illustration of what many young residents in the Shizili Community aredoing，facilitatedbythe“Rent Reduction for Companionship”program.In this initiative，young peopleoffer their timeand care，supporting elderly neighbors through volunteer work in exchange for reduced ornil rent. This kind of mutual help model both eases the financial burden for young people entering the workforce and，more importantly， helps to forge deep emotional connections between young people and the elderly membersof the community. This has created a lifestyle where mutual help and support occur naturally in daily life.

對(duì)社區(qū)來(lái)說(shuō)，這種互助模式已經(jīng)成為一種維持社區(qū)生活品質(zhì)與和諧的重要方式，既改善了青年租戶缺少關(guān)愛的困境，又在一定程度上解決了老人孤寂無(wú)伴的難題。

For the community， this mutual aid model has become an important means of maintaining both quality of life and a sense of harmony.It not only helps young renters to feel less isolated and more cared for，butalso eases the loneliness faced by many elderlyresidents.

Chasing Dreams， One Startup at a Time

在長(zhǎng)沙某區(qū)湘民社區(qū)民生服務(wù)綜合體三樓，社區(qū)咖啡店老板海帶（化名）正在用心研磨咖啡。旁邊的老爺爺吹奏著老年大學(xué)課堂上習(xí)得的薩克斯曲目，為這個(gè)平凡的午后增添了幾分靈動(dòng)的音符。

On the third floor of theXiangmin Community Service CenterinadistrictofChangsha，the owner of a small， cozy café known as Haidai （a pseudonym） is carefully grinding coffee beans，fully focused on his craft.Nearby，an elderly gentleman playsa saxophone tune he learned at the local senior college，filling the ordinary afternoon with some unexpected， soulful notes.

“開家咖啡店一直是我的夢(mèng)想，現(xiàn)在我既能做自己喜歡的事情，又能服務(wù)社區(qū)，豈不美哉！”海帶的臉上洋溢著笑容。2023年10月之前，他一直在長(zhǎng)沙某國(guó)企任職。得知自己所在的小區(qū)正在探索“以空間換服務(wù)”的形式為青年創(chuàng)業(yè)者提供租金低廉的營(yíng)運(yùn)場(chǎng)地，海帶很心動(dòng)。考慮到離家近、環(huán)境熟悉等因素，海帶辭職盤下了這家店，正式成為一名社區(qū)青年“合伙人”。

“It has always been my dream to opena coffee shop.NowI can do whatIlove and serve the community;whatcouldbebetter？”asksHaidai withabig smile.Before October2023，he worked atastate-owned enterprise in Changsha.But when he heard that his neighborhood was trialing a“space-for-service”model，offeringaffordable business spaces to support young entrepreneurs， hewas immediately intrigued.Bearing in mind the convenience of being close to home and the comfort ofa familiar environment，Haidai decided to quit his job and take over the shop，formally stepping into the role of a community-based youth partner.

如今，長(zhǎng)沙通過諸多創(chuàng)新，打造出許多具有文化內(nèi)涵和人文關(guān)懷的特色社區(qū)，同時(shí)，也為年輕人提供了更多生活選擇和發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì)，幫助他們探索更加豐富多元的工作和生活方式。

不一樣的幸福感

A Different Kind of Happiness

2024年跨年夜，在長(zhǎng)沙五一廣場(chǎng)，數(shù)萬(wàn)人一同放飛許愿氣球，共同邁入新的一年。“長(zhǎng)沙就是這樣浪漫”的詞條迅速登上微博熱搜榜。“浪漫之都”長(zhǎng)沙，當(dāng)然也少不了愛情。

OnNew Year'sEve2024，tensofthousandsof people gathered in Changsha'sWuyi Square，releasing “wish balloons” into the sky together as the new year began.The moment was so magical that the phrase “Changsha is just this romantic”rapidly shot to the top ofWeibo's trending list.In thiscity of romance， love is，of course，always in the air.

2022年，長(zhǎng)沙市總工會(huì)與共青團(tuán)長(zhǎng)沙市委聯(lián)合主辦了第一期“緣分宅不住”公益活動(dòng)，組織長(zhǎng)沙單身青年職工開展線上聯(lián)誼。當(dāng)時(shí)，在線上“愛情直播間”里，男女嘉賓先后分享了自己的生活日常，相談甚歡。前來(lái)助攻的親友團(tuán)也熱情留言參與互動(dòng)，活動(dòng)氣氛熱烈。連續(xù)四期的線上聯(lián)誼活動(dòng)總共吸引了7375名優(yōu)秀單身青年在線觀看，促成了708對(duì)青年留下聯(lián)系方式，成為好友。胡剛毅和妻子便是其中的一對(duì)。他們從線上相談到線下見面，后來(lái)攜手走進(jìn)了婚姻的殿堂。“愛上一個(gè)人，戀上一座城。”胡剛毅用自己的親身經(jīng)歷生動(dòng)詮釋了這句話的含義。

In 2022，the Changsha Federation of Trade Unions and the Changsha Youth League jointly launched the first round of a public matchmaking event called “Love cannot be locked in.’This brought together young，single workers in Changsha for a funand lively online meetup.In the virtual “Love livestreamroom，”participants shared aspectsof their daily lives，enjoyed lively conversations，and even gained support from friends and family cheering themon in thechat; theatmospherewaswarmand filled with energy.Across four rounds of this online event，atotalof7，375eligiblesingletonstuned in，and 708 new connections were made，being people who exchanged contact information and became friends.Hu Gangyi and hiswife were one of these lucky couples; they started chatting online，met up in real life，and eventually walked hand in hand into marriage.“Falling inlove with a person，and falling in love with acity”is howHu Gangyi describes it，with his story bringing these words to life.

“本來(lái)想去更大的地方闖蕩，但長(zhǎng)沙給了我不一樣的幸福感。”這位曾就讀于美國(guó)得克薩斯大學(xué)的博士在談及留在長(zhǎng)沙的理由時(shí)說(shuō)道，湖南人身上那股敢為人先的精神打動(dòng)了他。更為重要的是，他在這里收獲了愛情，組建了自己的小家。如今，長(zhǎng)沙各級(jí)團(tuán)組織已舉辦了27場(chǎng)豐富多彩的婚戀交友活動(dòng)，幫助年輕人拓展交際圈，讓他們?cè)陂L(zhǎng)沙不僅能交到朋友，還有機(jī)會(huì)追尋浪漫，找到幸福的另一半。

\"I originally planned to chase bigger dreams inabiggercity，but Changsha gave mea different kind of happiness，said thePhD graduate from the University of Texas when explainingwhy he chose to stay.What truly moved him was the bold，pioneering spirit of the people of Hunan; moreimportantly，itwasherethathe foundloveand builtahome of hisown.To date，youth organizations across Changsha have hosted 27 fun and creative dating events，helping young people to expand their social circles.In this city， young people do not just make friends，theyalso have the chance to find romance and meet “that special someone\"
