今天上英語課,組織好課堂后,我出示句子,布置了口語訓練任務。三分鐘過去了,我啟發學生們站起來進行對話訓練,結果卻沒人站起來,我感到非常尷尬。究竟為什么,我在思考……這時,一個男同學站起來了,但他后面的合作伙伴卻沒站起來,在我正要說些鼓勵的話時,前面的男同學又坐下了。我看著他們,微笑著對他們說:“別緊張,我們慢慢來。”終于他們又站起來了。
我說,“OK,please.”他們便開始對話。
Boy:Hello!How are you?
Girl:I’m OK, and you?
Boy:I’m fine too. What’s your favourite sport?
Girl:I like playing football.
Boy:Really? Football is boy’s hobby.
Girl:Yes,but I like it very much. What about you?
Boy:I like playing basketball and foo-tball.
Girl:Do you do exercise everyday?(每天鍛煉身體嗎?)
Boy:Yes,I run in the morning and play basketball in the afternoon.
Girl:Why do you do it?
Boy:Only for fun.
Girl:I think sports can develop mind and body.
Boy:Yes,you’re right. See you later!
Girl:See you!
他們一說完,我就笑著對那位女同學說:“I like playing basketball,but you like foot-ball.Maybe girls don’t like football and basketball.Do you think so?”那位同學說:“Yes,but I like football very much,and I have few girl classmates play with me.”我接著說:“When I’m a student in No.1 Middle school,my good friend—Liu Qiaoying, who is a member of Basketball Team. Always she and me play basketball with our boy class-mates.”
我邊笑邊說,偶爾重復一下,偶爾翻譯個句子,他們靜靜地聽,點頭。我說:“你們潛力很大,愛因斯坦腦細胞用了不到1/10。你們要充分挖掘你們的寶藏。”
他們看著我,漸漸地放松了,有了自信,后來開始學習課文,“English around the world”先復習第一個內容,我問誰來讀,有七八個同學舉手,其中三四個男同學以前從來都默不作聲,直到叫名字才回答問題,我很吃驚,臉上表情漸漸綻放:“OK. Good please!”我伸手示意,一位男同學站起來,他讀得很認真,有時對一些單詞不太有把握,我會給予幫助,讀完后,嘩、嘩、嘩——一陣熱烈的掌聲,沒等我表揚,同學們已給予了他最好的禮物。我還未反應過來,同學們喊到“老師,鼓掌。”我猶如從夢中醒來趕忙說:“You do well. Thank you.”并給予熱烈的掌聲。
接著另一位同學讀第三段,也很好,其實上次上課時這段沒學過,只是聽了一遍錄音,她就讀得這么好,可惜啊,肯定預習了。我微笑點頭示意她坐下,然后和全班同學共同給予她熱烈的掌聲,我說:“你讀音正確,音色優美”。
然后講到mother tongue(母語)這個詞組時,我說:“What is mother tongue?”我順手將這句話寫到黑板上。“Chinese”他們大聲回答。我說:“I like Chinese very much, do you like it?”“Yes, we like it very much.”他們異口同聲地說。“Why?”我又問,“漢語是我們的母語,她非常的美。”
“漢語好學”“漢語……”同學們七嘴八舌地回答。他們的表情里滿是喜悅和熱情,可以看出他們學英語,但更愛漢語。我看著他們,內心感到激動,連幾個愛做小動作的同學也在認真地聽著、說著。
