Exploring Marine Strategy

A strategy for marine development becomes more and more important for China since April 10 of 2012 when twelve Chinese fishing boats were harassed on by a Philippine Navy gunboat near the Huangyan Island. Chinese government has put forward a plan， as part of the Twelfth Five Year Plan， for formulating and implementing the strategy for marine development.

Private Capital’s Participation in Railway Construction

MOR’s policy on encouraging private capital to invest in railway construction has drawn much concern. According to MOR’s plan， a joint-stock company will be established for constructing a railway in northern China. A private enterprise in the invitee list hopes that the MOR can give up its status as the relative controlling shareholder.
