Abstract Nowadays, cultural fusions and conflicts have become a hot issue. People do not know why they have so many influences, especially in the films’ translations; the fusions and conflicts even have a new image. Follow some experts’ footprints; I will analyze the cultural fusions and conflicts that appear in films’ translations. As everyone knows, Assimilation and dissimilation are very common when we translate the lines. I will analyze a famous film, Kong Fu Panda, everyone likes films, so everyone in the world can feel this strong impact. To anyone who likes enjoying films, the translation of the lines can make a great difference on them. Films produced by foreign countries can be difficult to understand if the lines refer to some local cultures. From this point, how to deal with the cultural factors is a problem we meet. Generally speaking, as the same to other literary translations, the cultural factors in films’ translations are difficult to control. To some degree, whether the understanding of the words is right or not is determined by one's knowledge of the relevant cultural factors. If the translators lack the comparable knowledge of different cultures, it is totally a blank to have a correct understanding and expression.

1 Introduction
In the literary translations, such as novels, when we trying to make the novels are accepted by foreign audiences, translators can use the comments to understand the difficult sentences, while it is impossible in the films’ translations, the audiences must understand it when they first heard it. This special aspect determines films’ translators must make full use of their second creative function to creatively convey the cultural information and artistic conception.
In order to solve the problem, there are three principles when we dealing with the cultural disparities in lines translation. Especially the former two principles are the most important, because the audiences just “see” the films rather than “l(fā)isten to” them. From the three principles, the summarizing translation strategies seem to be more satisfying to its need. The above has referred to the good points of summary— the cultural images are the most familial to the translation readers, it reads profound and vivid. This point well fits the second principle; the language is profound and vivid means that it keeps the beauty enjoyment of the language and will never bring the problems of understanding.
2 A related example
\"Your mind like this water, my friend, when it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see,but if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear.\" (Kong fu Panda,)
When it is literal translated, the translation should be
你的思想就像水一樣,我的朋友,當(dāng)水波搖曳時(shí),你很難把它看清,不過它恢復(fù)平靜以后,答案就一覽無遺了。
When it is free translated, the translation should be
你的心情便如這攪亂的池水,混沌不清;等靜下來,答案自見分曉。(或心如驚瀾,神思混沌;心若止水,茅塞頓開)
This sentence expresses the understanding of traditional Chinese ideology of static. But it is different from quiet and the meaning of relocating the bit-level! Different from the bit-level quiet and relocating, its implication is that not to pursue fame and wealth, a simple life can show one’s interest; not to pursue a lively life. State of mind is a peaceful quiet, which can reach big goals. The meaning of this sentence is same as
水靜則明燭須眉,平中準(zhǔn),大匠取法焉。水靜伏明,而況精神。圣人之心,靜,天地之鑒也,萬物之鏡。——莊子
2.1 One concrete use of assimilation
“There is a saying,yesterday is history,tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift,that is why it’s called the present.” (Kong fu Panda)
有個(gè)說法,昨天是歷史,明天是個(gè)謎,但是今天是個(gè)禮物,那是為什么它被叫做禮物。
This is a classic line from master “tortoise”. The original sentence contains a rhyme pun. If you take the simple method as literal translation “saying yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift, which is why it is present.” Or \"yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is ‘the present given to us by god’\". The deal seems to lose the implied aesthetic feeling that this sentence brings, it reads very insipid. But using the methods “assimilation” the sentence is translated as “the day of yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which we should grasp now!\"
2.2 One concrete use of dissimilation
“There are no accidents.” (Kong fu Panda)
世上沒有巧合。
In the movie, it is directly translated as “從來沒有什么意外”或“一切早已注定”或“一切都不是偶然”或“世上沒有意外”。
Such translation is faithful to the original text and convenient for the Chinese audience to understand and accept. If translated as “這不是誤打誤撞”或“存在即合理” will cause ambiguity and makes people feel confused.
3 Summary
Now, I can draw a conclusion that different use of assimilation and dissimilation can make the films have a different image in one's heart. Assimilation and dissimilation are just two methods for translations, In literal translations, we can use the comments to understand the difficult sentences, but in the films' area, the ultimate goal is to make films be more understandable to audience all over the world, to let everyone have a thorough understanding of the films. Everyone knows that we can not avoid the conflicts, but we can make a better combination of the conflicts and make them more acceptable and attractive to people. From my presentation, the Dream Factory has done well in this field. The Dream Factory can make a good combination of Chinese culture and Americans culture, and produce these two excellent films. But there is still a question of how to make a good fusion of the cultural conflicts in our real life.
