Integrated skills時(shí),主要是讓在聽(tīng)力和閱讀中,學(xué)生能夠掌握聯(lián)合國(guó)兒童基金會(huì)的一些知識(shí),能用自己所學(xué)知識(shí)談?wù)勛约簽榇壬平M織做貢獻(xiàn)的想法。聯(lián)合國(guó)兒童基金會(huì)是國(guó)際慈善機(jī)構(gòu)中的一種,學(xué)生本身就沒(méi)有太多的背景知識(shí),空洞的講授比較枯燥乏味,學(xué)生學(xué)起來(lái)也比較的吃力。所以在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我嘗試為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)各種情景,并加以氣氛的渲染,在學(xué)生課堂上主動(dòng)地去學(xué)知識(shí),主動(dòng)地張嘴說(shuō)英語(yǔ),在情感的熏陶下主動(dòng)地提意見(jiàn),真正地成為課堂這個(gè)“舞臺(tái)”上唱戲的“主角”。
第一幕:?jiǎn)栴}導(dǎo)入
T:Boys and girls,look at our school,It’s beautiful,and our classroom is bright and clean,so Ithink you are lucky to sit here,Do you agree with me?
S:Yes!(學(xué)生們邊回答邊不約而同的點(diǎn)了點(diǎn)頭)
T:Butsome children are not as lucky as you,look at the picture(在多媒體上展示了一幅大眼睛姑娘的照片,比較形象直觀),she can’t go to school because her family is poor.So our government set up Spring Bud Project to help them, we know Spring Bud Project is a charity. Also,there are many international charities in the world.Ok!I give you some logoes of them ,tell me what charity it is!(由春蕾計(jì)劃慢慢地引申到我們這單元學(xué)的國(guó)際慈善組織,通過(guò)圖標(biāo)讓學(xué)生說(shuō)出這些慈善組織的名字,過(guò)渡比較自然,學(xué)生也比較容易接受)
S:Oxfam; World Wide Fung for Nature; World Vision;ORBIS.
T:Yes
S:ORBIS uses a flying eye hospital to help people,Dr Ma works there as a volunteer doctor,(有了前面Reading 課文的鋪墊,學(xué)生也自然地跟著說(shuō)起來(lái))
T:We can also say Dr Ma does Voluntarywork.(在復(fù)習(xí)的同時(shí)也帶出了新詞,為后面的學(xué)習(xí)掃清障礙。)
(學(xué)生跟讀三遍)
T:Today we’ll learn another charity,first,I show you some pictures,then You can guess what chatity it is.(把幾張世界大戰(zhàn)與非洲小孩因戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)而失去家園,沒(méi)吃沒(méi)喝,去工作的照片,再配以悲傷的音樂(lè)以幻燈的形式展示給學(xué)生,為學(xué)生們搭建一個(gè)背景舞臺(tái),讓學(xué)生大膽的去猜測(cè),)
S:UNICEF(形象直觀的呈現(xiàn),學(xué)生很容易的就說(shuō)出來(lái)了)
T:Yes,very good.When is it set up? Do you know?You can find the answer on page86 A2.open your book and do it(對(duì)學(xué)生的表現(xiàn)及時(shí)作出評(píng)價(jià),并以問(wèn)題的形式導(dǎo)入下一個(gè)步驟,讓他們帶著問(wèn)題去閱讀,明確自己的目的)
S:It is set up in 1946.
為了加深他們的印象及為后面的環(huán)節(jié)做準(zhǔn)備,讓學(xué)生齊讀,在對(duì)UNICEF有了一些基礎(chǔ)了解之后,再讓學(xué)生做聽(tīng)力及單詞填空就比較簡(jiǎn)單了,這兩個(gè)練習(xí)既是一種對(duì)所學(xué)知識(shí)的一種檢測(cè),也是一種鞏固!
第二幕:組組競(jìng)賽
T:All of you did good jobs.Now, we have known something about UNICEF,Let’s have a competition between group1 and group2. The group which gets the most smiling faces is winner.(在閱讀,聽(tīng)力,填空一系列的課文練習(xí)之后,為了檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)UNICEF 的掌握情況,及提高學(xué)生的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)意識(shí),我搭建了一個(gè)兩組競(jìng)賽的“舞臺(tái)”,利用小獎(jiǎng)品來(lái)激起學(xué)生們的表現(xiàn)欲望,讓學(xué)生做課堂的主人,任學(xué)生在課堂上表演,在競(jìng)賽的同時(shí),鞏固了所學(xué)的知識(shí),也操練了英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)。)
S1:UNICEF is an organization that help poor children.
S2:It provides food and clean water for children.
S3:It was set up in 1946 in Europe.
S4: UNICEF raises money by selling Christmas cards and organizing other fund—raising activities.
S5:It helps make the world a better place.
學(xué)生們的發(fā)言非常積極,課堂上的氣氛也進(jìn)入到了一個(gè)小高潮。呈現(xiàn)出了一幅“老師聽(tīng)?wèi)颍瑢W(xué)生唱戲”的場(chǎng)面。
第三幕:學(xué)以致用
外語(yǔ)中的教就是為了“用”,在上面的步驟完成之后,在speak up中,先讓他們熟讀課文,熟練里面的句型,讓學(xué)生兩兩表演,用自己的語(yǔ)言組織對(duì)話,既操練了句型,又從真正意義上,達(dá)到了以學(xué)生為主角的效果。
T:My friend Daniel and Kitty are talking about charities,listen to the tape,and tell me what is Daniel’s favourite charity?(讓學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題去聽(tīng),從整體上感知這篇對(duì)話的內(nèi)容)

T:open your book,here are three questions ,work in pairs .(同座位一問(wèn)一答進(jìn)行操練,進(jìn)而熟悉對(duì)話的內(nèi)容,為下面自己編對(duì)話打下一個(gè)基礎(chǔ))
T:From this dialogue,we know Kitty’s favourite charity is World Wide Fung for Nature,She donated money to it because animals are in danger.There are also some problems .(展示一些圖片),dou you want to help them? Which one do you want to help? You can make a dialogue with your partner like this.(在電腦上顯示一些提示的句型,以便讓每個(gè)學(xué)生都有話可說(shuō))
布置好任務(wù)之后,讓學(xué)生自由組合,操練句型,并加以自己的觀點(diǎn),再一次把時(shí)間留給學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生做課堂的主角。下面是兩位學(xué)生的對(duì)話:
S1:I used to spend my pocket money on food. What about you?
S2:I used to spend on cards.but now I save money for charities.
S1:What is your favourite charity?
S2:Save China’s Tigers,because many tigers are in danger.
S1:I want to donate money to ORBIS, because I Want to help blind people.
S2:That’s good.
第四幕:情感升華
有了一定的視覺(jué)和情感背景,很多學(xué)生提出了很多情真意切而又符合實(shí)際的意見(jiàn),在情感上得到了升華。
第五幕:成果展示
最后讓學(xué)生們以組的形式設(shè)計(jì)海報(bào),用自己的行動(dòng)去幫助在地震中的人們,最后張貼在黑板上展示。
反思:
只要我們能在平時(shí)教學(xué)實(shí)踐中多積累、多總結(jié),厚積薄發(fā),相信每個(gè)單元的每個(gè)課題都會(huì)有自己的特色,學(xué)生也更容易接受枯燥的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí),這樣才能真正體現(xiàn)在課堂上以人為本的學(xué)習(xí)理念。真正地讓學(xué)生成為課堂這個(gè)“舞臺(tái)”上唱戲的“主角”。
