英語新課程標準積極倡導的自主、合作、探究的學習方式是這次課程改革的重點之一。改變學生的學習方式,由被動地接受學習,轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)橹鲃拥靥骄繉W習,改變學生學習過程與方式的根本目的是使學生學會學習。為適應新教育實驗的理念,全面提高教育教學質(zhì)量,構(gòu)筑以學生為本的“自主合作探究”式英語課堂。下面以一個具體的“自主合作探究”式的英語課堂教學為例,分析Films and film events的Reading閱讀課型。其教學過程如下:
Step 1 Lead-in and Discussion
T:(Show the students some pictures about the 78 Academy Awards on screen.)
Please appreciate these pictures about the 78 Academy Awards,and talk about them with your partners.
讓學生再次觀看一些圖片,進行分組自由討論,最后讓學生表述圖片傳遞的信息。這樣,既讓學生大膽地開口說英語,進行了口語表達,又讓學生形成自主學習的能力,發(fā)展了他們學習英語的愛好。
Step 2 Presentation for Reading
T:Today were going to read a passage “Important Film Events around the World”.
You will know more about international film festivals.
Have a discussion with your partner to collect the answers to these questions:
(1)How many film festival representatives appeared on the show?
(2)Which film festivals are mentioned in the tran?
(3)At which festival are you not likely to find Hollywood film?
結(jié)合屏幕上的圖片,提出討論的話題,充分發(fā)揮學生的學習積極性、自主性和協(xié)作性,以此活躍課堂氣氛,促使學生踴躍參加活動,為下面課文內(nèi)容的學習奠定基礎(chǔ)。
Step 3 Reading
(Teacher shows the questions on the screen,and the students begin to read the text.)
Read the text and then answer the following questions:
(1)How many film festival representatives appeared on the show?
(2)Which film festivals are mentioned in the tran?
(3)At which festival are you not likely to find Hollywood film?
(4)Why was the Cannes film festival started?
(5)What is the difference between the Cannes film festival and the Berlin film festival?
(6)What is the golden cup award?
(After reading,get the students discuss with their classmates first.)
采取先討論、同學回答、老師補充的方式,能夠讓學生深入思考,領(lǐng)會本課的重點內(nèi)容,充分體現(xiàn)教學中教師的引導作用和學生的主體地位,讓學生學會學習、自主學習。
Step 4 Practice
1.Role-reading
T:7 students a group ,read this article together,one as a character in the dialogue.
分角色朗讀訓練,有效調(diào)動學生參與的積極性,同時降低課文通篇朗讀的難度,使全體學生都能夠參與活動,有助于提高學生學習英語的興趣。

The most famous (1)?搖 ?搖 a film,an actor or a (2)?搖 ?搖 can win is an Oscar.Yet,Oscars,or the academy awards,are often overlooked when people discuss film festivals.
The academy awards have a (3)?搖 ?搖 that is very different from other film festivals. In fact,some people say that the academy awards should not even be called a film festival.One reason for this is that most traditional film festivals show films from a variety of (4)?搖 ?搖.At the academy awards,the (5)?搖 ?搖 is on rewarding American films of the top rank.While there is no restriction on foreign entries,those that win are in the (6)?搖 ?搖 and they rarely win the best picture award,regardless of popularity.Another reason it might not be appropriate to call the academy awards a film (7)?搖 ?搖 is that awards are given for more than just the film. (設計這一環(huán)節(jié)的目的是及時鞏固上課所學內(nèi)容,通過填詞練習檢測學生學習的情況,同時加深學生對課文內(nèi)容的理解。)
教學反思:
1.利用課件及圖片資源,充分發(fā)揮學生的學習積極性、自主性和協(xié)作性。讓學生自主討論,踴躍發(fā)表自己的意見,充分體現(xiàn)“以學生為本”的教學理念。
2.英語的課堂教學應當以用為主,樹立一種“大英語教學觀”,讓英語教學走出課堂,走一條“開放”與“搞活”之路。現(xiàn)在的英語課堂教學提高了對學生語言應用能力的要求,要求教師由單純傳授語言知識轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)閷W生語言實踐能力的培養(yǎng)。
3.傳統(tǒng)的教學方法容易使學生失去學習興趣,而且不能體現(xiàn)語言的生動性,所以教師要豐富教學方法,刺激學生的不同興奮點,抑制大腦疲勞。這種教學設計克服了傳統(tǒng)的教師講、學生記的弊病,學生在教師引導下學會思考,學會分析,學會發(fā)現(xiàn),學會表達,真正發(fā)揮學生的主體作用和教師的主導作用,課堂上能做到全面提高學生的英語能力,通過師生、生生交流合作、探究,能取得很好的教學效果。
4.學生普遍對這種上課形式表示歡迎,培養(yǎng)了他們學習英語的愛好,完全認識到其不同于普通的教學課堂教學。課堂應當是學堂,是學生學習的天堂,應充分發(fā)揮學生積極性,讓英語真正“活”起來,全方位開發(fā)學生潛能。
