成長是一個快樂與煩惱始終相伴的過程。長大成人的我們會發現，早操時跑不到盡頭的操場原來只是一個小小的圓圈，習題冊里解不開的x和y早已不再是影響心情指數的變量，當初覺得困難的事情如今都變得那么簡單。然而，成長也讓簡單的事情變得復雜，一起笑過、鬧過的小伙伴們各自遠去，那些云淡風輕的日子和純真的情誼變成了很難再遇到的美好。

歌曲“We Are Going to Be Friends”是美國搖滾樂隊The White Stripes在2002年發行的一首曲風清新的單曲，講述了新學期和朋友初識的故事。每個聽者似乎都能在這首歌里找到自己童年的影子。秋高氣爽的9月，又到了開學的時候，校園里回蕩著小伙伴們的歡聲笑語。新的學期，我們穿著新鞋子，背著新書包，滿懷期待地迎來嶄新的生活。我們會認識新的伙伴，彼此從陌生人變成無話不談的朋友，一起玩耍，一起學習，一起度過快樂的童年時光。

有趣的是，歌曲里這位叫做Suzy Lee的朋友在The White Stripes樂隊的另外兩張專輯中也出現過。這首懷念童年和友情的歌曲還作為片頭音樂出現在青春電影《大人物拿破侖》（Napoleon Dynamite）中。

正如歌中所唱，或許我們每個人都曾遇到過一個像Suzy Lee這樣的朋友。從一句“我是某某某，我們一起玩吧”的招呼開始，我們一起逃課、翻墻，一起努力，一起偷懶，也一起做過不多不少、無傷大雅的壞事。我們保守彼此的秘密，分享快樂，也分擔憂慮。一年又一年，時間飛逝而過，曾經的友情或許已經不在，但記憶中的那些人和事仍然美好和令人懷念。是的，就算童年已經遠去，有關童年的記憶還在閃著耀眼的光芒；就算伙伴早已遠離，那些美好的情誼也將永遠珍藏在心底。
