筆者最近觀摩了市教學(xué)大比武對譯林新版《英語》五年級下冊Unit 5 Helping our parents中Grammar time板塊的教學(xué),有一節(jié)課的設(shè)計理念讓人耳目一新,筆者從中獲得一些啟發(fā)。本文將通過對此課例的具體分析,談?wù)剬rammar Time板塊教學(xué)的幾點思考。
本單元的主要語法是一般現(xiàn)在時和現(xiàn)在分詞的學(xué)習(xí)及使用,話題是“幫助父母做一些力所能及的事”,在第一課時Story Time的故事文本中已經(jīng)出現(xiàn),學(xué)生對現(xiàn)在進行時已有初步了解,所以,通過對故事的回顧,可喚起學(xué)生對語法項目在故事中所表達的語言意義的理解。
教學(xué)片斷如下:
T:Now,I know you help your parents do housework at home.So do Mike and Helen.
Look,this is Mike’s family.It is Saturday morning.They are doing different things at home.What are his parents doing?
S:Mike’s father is cleaning the car.
S: Mike’s mother is cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
T:How about the children?What are they doing?
T:Why doesn’t Tim help his parents do housework?

T:Can you try to retell it?Look at the map,it can help you.

教師通過思維導(dǎo)圖的方式,幫助學(xué)生清晰地把握文章脈絡(luò),回顧故事內(nèi)容,在表達中初步感悟語法項目。教師接著故事內(nèi)容延續(xù)情境,通過課件呈現(xiàn)夜晚他們正在做什么。
T:Now,it is Saturday evening.What are they doing?Do you know?繼續(xù)與學(xué)生交流,從而切入本課的語法主題。
T:Maybe you can ask me like this:
What is Mike doing?(學(xué)生跟讀)
T:Look atthese pictures,can you try to ask?
Ss自由提問:What is...doing?/What are...doing?

教師應(yīng)該為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造各種有利于他們學(xué)習(xí)和使用英語的環(huán)境和條件,為他們有效“理解”和“產(chǎn)生”語言提供機會(韓剛,2011)。這里,教師很巧妙地延續(xù)課文情境,合理補白,設(shè)計了一個Mike與他的網(wǎng)友Eric的微信聊天情境:Mike向Eric講述他們一家人正分別在干什么,但是在聊天過程中,他們彼此都出了一些錯誤,學(xué)生在糾錯過程中初步感知學(xué)習(xí)語法規(guī)則。教學(xué)片斷如下:
T:Mike is chatting on the Internet.He’s chatting with his e-friend.Who’s his e-friend?
T:Let’s go and see what they are talking now?播放第一張圖片中聊天記錄的錄音?!?br>
