知識目標:學習怎樣用英語表達向別人要求某物和有關寫信的一些知識,掌握相關的單詞匯penfriend,an e-mail address,also,glue, write a letter, writing paper, n envelope和句型I hope so, Can I have…? I want… I want to do… What for?并能綜合運 用新、舊知識給自己的筆友寫信。
2、情感目標:激發學生找筆友的興趣,培養積極向上的人格。
3、能力目標:培養學生的交際能力,發展學生綜合運用語言的能力。
教學重、難點:創設語言情景,使學生盡可能多地運用所學知識進行筆友征集。

教學步驟:

T:I hope so.(做驚喜狀) Because I’m going to go on an outing with my penfriend. S:learn “I hope so”

了該單元的中心詞penfriend)
2、Talk about the penfriend
T:By the way, do you have a penfriend? S:Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T:Do you want a penfriend? S:Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
So you want to write to your penfriend , yes? You can talk about your hobbies ,your study, your family and so on..
(板書want和want to,在談話中區別want和want to的用法,并通過 PPT選擇題練習他們的區別: They want some writing paper. A: / B: to
They want have some writing paper. A: / B: to.)
T:I have a penfriend. I often write to(on the bb) her. Now I’m going to write to her. I have a stamp, an envelope, but I do not have any writing paper or pens.
(展示所帶的郵票、信封,并把它們貼在黑板上和寫上相應的單詞)
3、Review the sentence structure of part C.
T:Excuse me, can I have some writing paper? S1:Sure. Here you are.
T:Excuse me, can I have some pens? S2:Sure. Here you are.
After the teacher gets some writing paper and pens, ask students to see what do they need if she/he wants to write a letter. And then to practice in pairs.

Step 2 Presentation
1、Introduce the title “a letter to a penfriend”
(在剛才活動設計下介紹標題就顯得水到渠成,非常自然)
T:Sometimes we don’t write letters to each other. What do we do? (Show the CAI)
設計意圖:(通過設計疑問讓學生猜老師到底還會用什么途徑,可以鼓勵學生進行預習,同時也激發了做過預習同學的積極性、增加他們學習的主動性)
S:You can write an e-mail to your penfriend.
T:Yes, sometimes we write an e-mail to each other.
(通過CAI呈現該單詞,學生學得就比較直觀)
T:So she knows my e-mail address. Do you have an e-mail?
S:Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T:So you (don’t) have an e-mail address. (show my e-mail address on the CAI)
(不必解釋學生就能理解address的意思了)
2、T:I made my penfriend in the newspaper. Do you usually read the newspaper? S:Yes, I do/No, I don’t.
T:Our friend Liu Tao read about Peter in the newspaper yesterday. Peter also wanted a penfriend.
(通過不同的時間狀語介紹read的用法,學生就能明白read原形和過去試是同一個單詞的不同讀音)
Liu Tao wants to write to Peter very much. He is talking to his mum about it. Let’s listen to the tape for general then answer the Qs.
