Always on the Way

Professor Zhang：

Thank you at the very first for offering me a chance to truly finish a paper of my own. I mean， more specifically， in this paper， I shall make every single word my own. It is kind of new and excited as well to take this journey after so long. I can barely recall when was the last time I write down something from the bottom of my heart. Most times I have to do some copies and paste and I am a bit tired of it. So I could not be happier when I heard your assignments. While I do have an alternative option， I will still choose to write definitely.

As you required， we can write down whatever we feel touched or moved or inspired or even angered. Well I do have a lot to put down on the paper if so. So here I will pick up two real things that have brought me much personal growth to develop my paper if you allow me. Accordingly， I shall have two subtitles which hopefully could be easier for you to follow.

1.Our Attitude Counts

Under all condition does our attitude counts. It is our attitude that determines how good we can be and how far we can go.

Two weeks ago on a Wednesday， a notice from SES party committee said that we party members have to hold a meeting about party poem recital， each class as a group. It was urgent because we only have one day to prepare. In addition， some of us had classes to attend to. As a result， the collective time we had can only be either lunch time or dinner time. The meeting shall be on at 7：00pm. The worse is that our league secretary， who was in charge of this was already abroad， we have to pick up a group leader at first. Luckily， Angelina volunteered so it saved us a lot of time to select a proper poem and to practice how to perform it very well in our group. We agreed to meet at 12：40pm right after lunch， I printed out the papers for them， Angelina did the PPT and found the music for us to follow. We five girls met and talked about how to perform the poem better. Two minutes later we reached an agreement after a mild discussion. Angelina suggested us to read and practice our own part first， then we rehearsed it together for 4 or so times. This was almost all for lunch time. We agreed to dress the same and bring the same file case to look more formal. Another is that we shall meet again at 6：20pm to practice some more.

At the meeting， there were 6 classes who performed their own poems， only our group was highly remarked by teachers and peers also. The reason we stood out from those who are no worse than us is that we put our heart in it， we treated it seriously and we made our efforts. We felt satisfied and unregretful. The final outcome does not matter that much， what counts is how we treat it.

2.Our Physical Status Makes A Great Difference

Almost all of us wish that we could stay healthy everyday， but let us wish what we wishes would happen to us. Tomorrow is unknown. Things sometimes are out of control. I am 25 now， not too old but not too young either. The only two things I feel pitiful is that I could no longer bend my waist freely and I could no longer see clearly. Though they have been taken care of. Still I feel like I am a machine with two broken pieces.

My eyesight gets poor because I use smart phone at night before bedtime， which is harmful to not only eyes but also brains. I read almost everyday. The result is that I have to wear my glasses， otherwise my teacher or leader might have to say hello to me before I do to them， which is embarrassing enough. In terms of my waist， it is not that serious but still it does bother me. Nothing is wrong before last winter， but somewhere between November and December I began to feel uncomfortable from time to time. I went to the hospital and did an X-ray， however， I was told that I was born that way， which was hard for me to accept because I am already a 25-year-old girl. The pain never visited me before， how can it be that I am born with that？ Anyway， these two things bother me， I will definitely take some measures to avoid the harm that may do to me. Also I wish all my friends， relatives and teachers healthy and happy.

So far now， I have almost put down all I want to put down. I assume that these two lessons does not only work on me， but also work on you. I， as a young girl， have a whole life ahead of me. Surely will I be serious with a single piece of small things and my health. Will you？ I believe so.
