重要性:通過這節課了解中國美國中學的區別和共同點
二、教學目標
1.Know about American school systems by using reading skills (了解美國教育體制)
2.Find the key phrases and understand language learning:cover多義;the first of which
3. Learn the form of an English letter.
三、學習者特征分析
1. 學生對中國中學有一定的了解,但是對美國中學不太了解,對相對應的英語表達知道甚少。
2. 學生多數喜歡自主學習及討論學習的方式。
3.結合學生平時的這種討論學習的風格以及這篇課文的教學特征,決定采取任務教學的教學方式并結合學生自主表達,學生質疑答疑,互評總結的過程。
四、教學策略選擇與設計
基本理念是以學生自主交流展示,討論表達為主,教師進行組織,評價,點撥。主要采取任務教學和小組討論的方法。
五、教學重點及難點
重點及難點:掌握一定的閱讀技巧,能在有限時間內,學生有效的找到閱讀信息。
六、教學過程
1.Warming up(熱身)。
(1)What do you know about the high school system in the US?
(2)通過設問讓學生自由口頭英文表述,鍛練學生說的能力。
2.Lead in(導入)。
