一、教學目標

1.知識目標：要求學生掌握使用過去進行時來詢問或描述過去進行的事情，并學會用when描述某動作或某事件的發生。

2.能力目標：能在交際過程中教流利的運用所學結構和句型，提高抓取和記錄關鍵信息的聽力技能。

3.情感目標：讓學生愛上英語課堂活動，鼓勵他們在課堂上進行合作交流。

4.學習策略目標：設法使學生掌握使用英語進行交流，學習積極參與班級活動。

三、教學過程

Step1：熱身（Warming up）

Greetings and introduction.

Step2：復習導入（Lead-in）

1.展示一些幻燈片復習現在進行時然后通過觀察時鐘詢問過去某時間正在進行的動作引出過去進行時。

T：What is he doing now？Ss：He is playing football.

T：What was he doing yesterday afternoon？T：He was playing football.

2.歸納現在進行時與過去進行時的含義與用法直接進入新課引入課題。

3.給出本課主題圖片并談論圖片的情景。

T：Look at the picture.There was a rainstorm yesterday morning.Where was the girl whenthe rainstorm came？

Step3：新授及操練（Presentation and Practice）

1.圖片展示，迅速完成1a。

2.聽力1b，播放聽力，學生聽并進行圈，然后通過提問進行檢測。

3.展示記者采訪的幻燈片，練習when 引導的時間狀語從句及過去進行時談論過去正在進行的活動，教授新句型。

A.What were you doing when the rainstorm came？

B.I was studying in the library.

4.Ask and answer freely.談論暴風雨來臨時在哪里及正在干什么。

Where were you when the rainstorm came？

5.展示圖片引出新句型然后進行1c的Pair work。

A：What was your sister doing at the time of the rainstorm？B：She was reading at home.

A：What was the girl doing at the time of the rainstorm？B：She was...

6.A memory game.

7.呈現圖片讓學生預測圖片的順序，播放2a的錄音讓學生檢測預測是否正確。

8.2b聽力。

9.2c Pair work讓學生一個扮演記者，一個扮演聽力材料中的男孩進行對話重述故事。

10.Group work.

把全班分成六人一組，每組通過記憶把打亂的句子根據2a的故事進行排序。
