【Abstract】In recent years, the scale of Chinas masters enrollment has been expanding, and the issue of further improving its English teaching level is imminent.Aiming at the problems existing in the English education of postgraduates, this paper proposes specific solutions to improve the quality of English teaching at the master level and further improve the English level of master students.

In the context of deepening the reform of masters education in China, re-optimizing and innovating the English teaching model for masters has become an important issue for masters training.

1. Problems Existing in the Teaching of English for Master Students

1.1 Curriculum is not scientific enough

Although universities and colleges nominally combine compulsory and elective courses, students dont have the right and opportunity to choose. Elective courses have become compulsory courses and compulsory courses have become core courses. This situation cannot meet the individual needs of students.

1.2 The teaching staff needs to be replenished

2. Countermeasures to Improve the Quality of English Teaching for Postgraduates
