教學目標:
1.能聽說認讀turkey, mutton等單詞,能聽說認讀句型I love grass. 復習鞏固有關蔬菜及農場動物的單詞vegetable, cow, hen, sheep 以及復數結構的句型What are those? Theyre cows. Are those turkeys? No, they arent. They are hens.
2.能夠在圖片的幫助下理解故事內容,并使用正確的語音、語調講述或表演故事。
3.在此故事的基礎上進行拓展延伸,表演故事。培養孩子即興表演的能力,提高孩子綜合運用語言的能力。
教學重點:

教學過程:
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting
T : Good morning, boys and girls?
Ss: Good morning, teacher
T : Whats the weather like today?
Ss: Its _______.
T: Yes, its _______ and _______ today. We should____.Its good for_____.I think we all like sunny.Because we can play outside.Mary likes the weather too,because she can walk with her little lamb.Now look!Mary has a good trip with her little lamb. lets sing a song together.(Mary has a little lamb) .
2. Step 2 Pre-task
T:OK.Mary has a little lamb.There are many sheep on the farm.Whose sheep are these?Oh,they are Zips uncles.Zips uncle has a big farm.(出示Zip叔叔和他的農場圖片)。
T:Please guess what the farm is? Ss answer :pig duck cow dog sheep goats等。T:Oh!The animals are very cute. We should take care of the animals.They are our friends.Look!What are these?(出示母雞圖)Are they hens or turkeys?S1:Hens.
S2:Turkeys.T:Oh!They are hens.They arent turkeys.(出示母雞和火雞的區別。師板書turkey)。Zoom thinks hens are turkeys on the farm.Because the hens are fat and big.
Step 3 While-reading
1. Watch and choose
T: Zips uncles farm is so big. What do Zoom and Zip see at the farm? Now watch and say.(播放前四幅圖動畫)
T:Zoom and Zip go to the farm.What can they see?S:They can see some vegetables\cows\hens\goats.(師出示課本五幅圖,找生回答)師點一幅圖問同學:Are they vegetables?S:Yes,
they are.同樣五幅圖談論完,在此環節中,教師把What are these?融入進去,適時復習。
2.T:Watch the cartoon again and tell me what Zip likes.What does Zoom like?(學生看動畫)T:Please look at the Bb.There is a table here.What does Zip like?What does Zoom like?(學生根據剛才看動畫填表,填表的過程就是板書的過程,也是學生理解課文內容的過程。)S1:Zip likes vegetables.Zoom doesnt like vegetables.師根據學生的回答進一步:Yes,Zip likes vegetables very much.So we should say:Zip loves the vegetables.(這句話貼到黑板上。)這里教師準備兩張句子卡片:I like the vegetables.畫一張笑臉Zip likes the vegetables vegetables very much.畫三張笑臉。同時轉換成Zip loves the vegetables.把like…very much 和love 用不同顏色的筆畫出來。S2:Zip likes the cows.But Zoom likes the milk.T:Yes.(師生繼續完成黑板的表格。)S3:Zip likes the hens.Zoom likes chicken and eggs.師放大圖像說:Wow!The hens are very big.They look like turkeys. S4:Zip likes sheep but Zoom likes mutton.出示Zoom在吃羊肉的圖片。T:Now look!Zoom eats mutton.He likes to eat mutton very much.He loves the mutton.(此環節學生很容易理解mutton的意思,使學生達到用英語理解英語的目的。師適時領讀mutton)
Step4 After—task
Retell the story
OK,everybody!Lets listen to the tape again and read after it.We should follow it loudly.(師放錄音生跟讀正音)
T:Please read it by yourselves!If you cant read it.Ill help you.(學生自由讀,有不會的可以問老師,這一環節為讀對話和表演對話做準備,從分段教學到整體把握,讓學生形成對文本的完整感知。)
Step 5.
Pair work
T:Practice with your partner. One is Zoom and the other is Zip.
Act the story.(找幾組同學到教室前去展示。)
設計意圖:創編故事情節,實現股市的延續性。通過任務型教學,拓展延伸本課所學內容,讓學生靈活運用第三單元和第四單元的核心句型,使知識的學習具有較強的實際意義。
