定語從句是高中學生在英語寫作中使用頻率最高，最容易出錯的復合句，故設計本課，旨在幫助學生提高對定語從句的運用能力，培養學生的學科核心素養。

通過前期學習，學生已基本具備對分析句子結構的能力及定語從句的基礎知識，但多數學生仍不能運用定語從句進行表達。
