Abstract： From a practical dimension， the great practice of the Chinese path to modernization has directlychanged the overall pattern， development logic， and choices of paths for world modernization. The practical pathof Chinese modernization has provided a new choice for the majority of developing countries and created a newform of human civilization. From a theoretical dimension， the theory of the Chinese path to modernization hasopened up a new horizon in the development of world modernization theory. The theory reflects the generallaw of world modernization， explores the special law of the Chinese path to modernization， and opens up a newchapter of scientific socialism. From a value dimension， the Chinese path to modernization indicates the futuredevelopment of human society. It takes the free and comprehensive development of human beings as the valuepursuit， points out the future development direction of building a community of shared future for mankind， andopens up a new path of mutual exchange and common development among different civilizations.

Abstract： The modernization process of each country has both general laws and specific paths andinstitutional arrangements. The Chinese path to modernization did not emerge in an isolated historicalenvironment but was explored in the international context of the rapid development of modern industrialcivilization and the domestic context of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This determines that theChinese path to modernization follows the common paradigm of national modernization while having its owncivilizational characteristics. The main reason why the Chinese path to modernization is different from Westernmodernization is that it has correctly dealt with five pairs of relationships： population and growth， efficiency anddistribution， environment and development， material and spiritual， peace and development. This has formed theunderlying logic of economic development， such as progressive reform， proactive opening， phased upgrading，environment-friendly growth， and high-quality development. At present， the world has entered a new period ofturbulence and transformation as it undergoes a major change unprecedented in a century， and the modernizationprocess of human society has once again come to a crossroads in history. The Chinese path to modernizationwill not only influence the development trend of world modernization but also provide new paths for choosingeconomic development models for late-developing countries.
