一、" 張照與衍圣公家族的姻親關系
(一) 張應芝與孔繼涑定親及早殤后相關情況
張照曾三次娶妻," 第一任妻子為高士奇女孫高祥," 高祥去世后繼娶江西巡撫馬如龍女孫馬氏," 馬氏逝后," 再娶沈荃女孫沈蘭。高祥、" 馬氏無子嗣," 沈蘭與張照育有二女一子。嫁給孔繼涑的為長女," 名應芝," 生于雍正五年 (1727) ," 時張照任翰林院侍講學士。雍正九年 (1731) ," 張應芝與長自己一歲的孔繼涑定親。時張照已任內閣學士兼禮部侍郎," 深得雍正信任。這一年也恰是孔傳鐸襲封衍圣公的第九年。關于張應芝與孔繼涑定親," 張照跋 《端溪蕉葉白硯銘》 曾記此事:

張照除送孔繼涑蕉葉白硯外," 又贈 《董其昌臨大仙帖》 。孔繼涑曾言:" “昔先公為涑聘文敏女," 文敏答以 《董臨大仙帖》 ," 并銘端溪硯背見賜。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864頁。】
很顯然," 張應芝與孔繼涑定親," 系張照與衍圣公孔傳鐸商定的結果。
按清制," 常居闕里的衍圣公," 在 “皇帝幸學釋奠及有關大典”" 時要進京朝賀外," “舉凡天子駕崩、" 新君即位、" 太后崩逝、" 皇帝萬壽、" 皇帝大婚、" 皇太后千秋等儀典時," 均要馳奔赴京侍儀。”" 【孔德懋:" 《孔子家族全書·家規禮儀》 ," 沈陽: 遼海出版社," 2000 年," 第 16 頁。】
雍正元年 (1723) 十二月十二日," 孔傳鐸襲爵。襲爵后一個半月," 雍正二年 (1724) 正月二十八日," 雍正 “諭禮部: 朕于三月內舉行視學釋奠大典," 定例衍圣公應行陪祀。聞孔傳鐸有疾," 且值守制之初," 可令伊子弟一人來京代伊行禮。”" 【 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷十五,"" 《清實錄》" 第7冊," 北京: 中華書局," 1985年," 第263頁。】
按慣例," 衍圣公襲爵后要來朝廷謝恩," 皇上也會賜宴衍圣公于禮部。孔興燮在順治、" 康熙朝," 孔毓圻在康熙朝皆如此。檢 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 ," 并無孔傳鐸襲爵后來朝謝恩的記載。而且," 雍正諭旨中 “聞孔傳鐸有疾," 且值守制之初”" 等語," 當系孔傳鐸襲爵謝恩奏折所言未能來朝的原因," 致使雍正決定," “令伊子弟一人來京代伊行禮。”" 從 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 關于衍圣公的相關記述看," 雍正對衍圣公孔傳鐸頗為不滿。雍正三年 (1725) 七月," 孔傳鐸奏請頒賜 《圣諭廣訓》" 《朋黨論》 二書," 雍正未允。【雍正三年 (1725) 七月 “甲辰," 衍圣公孔傳鐸奏請頒賜 《圣諭廣訓》" 《朋黨論》 二書。得旨: 我圣祖仁皇帝教育群生," 御制上諭十六條," 期以厚民風而端習俗。朕仰承先志," 推衍發明," 著為廣訓," 使愚氓易曉。凡茲作述之間," 悉本先師孔子之道," 以為是訓是行之本," 立無一語出乎圣教之外也。卿為至圣后裔, "果能祗遵祖訓," 身體力行," 則修身齊家之道," 化民善俗之模," 莫大乎是。且植黨為圣人所深戒," 向來孔氏子孫從無趨附匪黨之事," 所請二書不必頒發。卿其恪遵好學力行知恥之訓," 能光家乘," 即廣國華。勉之慎之。”" 載 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷三四,"" 《清實錄》" 第7冊,"" 第515頁。】
雍正七年 (1729) 四月," 孔傳鐸因奏本內使用 “乾坤效靈”" 字樣," 被雍正斥責。【雍正七年 (1729) 四月 “甲辰," 諭內閣: 朕荷天地鴻恩," 俯垂眷佑。寤寐之中," 對越神明之心," 至誠至恪。每見臣工奏章有山川效靈等字," 輕慢神祇," 朕心深切不安。屢經降旨申飭。今衍圣公孔傳鐸奏賀慶云本內," 仍用乾坤效靈字樣," 想未見朕歷來誡諭之旨耶?衍圣公為先師后裔," 服習家訓," 拜疏陳詞," 尤宜合理。此本著更改," 另行繕寫具奏。”" 載 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷八一,"" 《清實錄》 第8冊," 第59-60頁。】
是年五月," 雍正諭內閣時又提起此事," 甚至定義為 “悚惕不寧之甚”" 。【雍正七年 (1729) 五月 “戊申," 諭內閣: 朕見臣工等奏章," 間有用山川效靈、" 洪福齊天," 及一切頌揚背理之詞。諄諄訓誡," 至于再三," 宜乎中外共知朕心矣。乃昨衍圣公孔傳鐸奏賀慶云本內," 竟用乾坤效靈之語。朕覽之實為悚惕不寧之甚。”" 載 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷八一,"" 《清實錄》" 第8冊," 第63頁。】
屢為雍正斥責的孔傳鐸于雍正七年 (1729) 十一月來京," 卻不得進見," 所請捐貲事亦被拒絕:
壬午," 衍圣公孔傳鐸奏請捐貲建立圣廟碑亭。得旨: 衍圣公孔傳鐸來京," 朕本欲召見," 面降諭旨。因伊步履艱難," 不能進見。特命大學士傳旨慰問," 頒賜食饌," 以示眷懷。其應建碑亭二座。著欽差留保等動支正項錢糧," 鳩工興造。孔傳鐸所請捐貲之處," 不必行。【 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷八八,"" 《清實錄》" 第8冊," 第182-183頁。】
雍正七年 (1729) 十一月," 孔傳鐸在 “步履艱難”" 的情況下進京朝見雍正," 自然與是年四月因奏本中使用 “乾坤效靈”" 文辭而為雍正斥責有直接關系。此次不得進見," 所請捐貲事亦被拒絕," 孔傳鐸已經清楚了雍正對他的態度。這種背景下," 與朝中雍正近臣結成密切的關系," 進而尋求改變雍正對他的態度," 必須成為孔傳鐸不能回避的選擇。張照為雍正所信任," 屢得升遷。【張照與雍正的關系及張照在雍正朝升遷情況," 詳見梁驥 《張照與雍正關系考》 ,"" 《學術交流》 2010年第4期," 第190-193頁。】
雍正七年 (1729) 時," 張照已任侍講學士," 并任日講起居注官," 為雍正近臣。很可能孔傳鐸來京期間," 在與張照的交往過程中," 二人就結成兒女親家有了初步的意向。后孔繼涑與張應芝于雍正九年 (1731) 定親。
張應芝極聰慧," “二歲識去來二字," 易地試之不爽。三歲即不與男子授受。五歲屬天旱," 朝令聚童子九門禱雨。聞之," 日自跪禱于庭," 翼如也。六歲," 母沈生女," 五日而夭。芝哭之," 哀不忘。是歲," 孝敬皇后崩," 童也不與里。绖輒自屏環珥," 索服如成人。自三歲而祖父歸江南," 見父作家書," 即拜問起居," 三年不斁。”" 可惜的是," 定親后的第二年," 得病為庸醫誤診而卒," 年僅六歲。卒前曰:" “我其死," 夫偏名家之人," 與永訣。”" 【[清]張照:" 《女應芝壙志銘》 ,"" 《玉虹樓法帖·玉虹樓法帖》 卷十一," 南京: 鳳凰出版社," 2009年。】
因為張應芝早殤," 后孔繼涑又 “娶于華亭王尚書儼齋公女孫,nbsp; 長蘆轉運使光麓公女。”" 【[清]梁同書:" 《頻羅庵遺集》 ,"" 《清代詩文集匯編》" 第353冊," 上海: 上海古籍出版社," 2010年," 第130頁。】
儼齋王鴻緒為張照外祖父王九齡胞弟," 孔繼涑所娶王鴻緒女孫與張照同輩。孔繼涑雖又娶王氏," 仍十分重視與張照的翁婿關系," 張家與孔家也一直保持著良好的關系。乾隆七年 (1742) 二月十五日," 十七歲的孔繼涑作 《原聘張淑女哀辭》 ," 傷于與張應芝 “未同于白首”" ," 寄思 “禮有盡而意無窮," 言不文而情可久”" ," 并在文末表達了自己的情感:
婚媾之好兮," 不因存歿而逾。昏媾之蹇兮," 不因日月而徂。愿結再生兮," 和汝唱予。今雖與子兮," 幽明異途。壽此堅珉兮," 大義炳如。【[清]孔繼涑:" 《原聘張淑女哀辭》 ,"" 《玉虹樓法帖·隱默齋帖》 卷八。】
孔繼涑并未見過張應芝," 他對張應芝的情感更多地屬于禮教范疇。而這種 “愿結再生兮," 和汝唱予”" 的愿望," 更主要是說給岳父張照。此時," 張照在度過了雍正十三年 (1735) 因平定貴州苗民之亂無功而系獄厄運后," 又為乾隆重用," 官刑部左侍郎。乾隆七年 (1742) 四月二十八日," 張照復任刑部尚書," 權重一時。而此時的孔家," 孔繼涑的父親衍圣公孔傳鐸已經去世十年," 長兄孔繼濩 (1697-1719) 早父親孔傳鐸十三年卒," 侄孔廣棨長孔繼涑十三歲," 已襲衍圣公。曲阜孔氏家族固可為其時第一家族," 然其名譽上影響重于實際影響。且此時孔繼涑父、" 兄已逝," 孔家庶幾已無可為孔繼涑提供幫助的資源。我們無意揣測孔繼涑作 《原聘張淑女哀辭》 ," 是在向張照表達態度和尋求支持。以張照當時身份和所得到的乾隆倚重情況看," 密切與張家的關系," 尤其是與張照的關系," 對孔繼涑的發展無疑有很大的助力。
乾隆九年 (1744) ," 孔繼涑十九歲時," 首次拜謁張照。孔繼涑 《玉虹樓遺稿》" 《題張文敏公墨跡后》" “懸臂中鋒幸得師," 拈毫曾許疾書之”" 句有注云:" “初謁公時," 方臂斷新愈。已能作大字," 舉手加額以示。”" 【[清]孔繼涑:" 《玉虹樓遺稿》 ,"" 《中國古籍珍本叢刊·孔子博物館卷》" 第21冊," 北京: 國家圖書館出版社," 2019年," 第482頁。】
據張應田 《皇清誥授光祿大夫經筵講官內廷供奉刑部尚書加五級總理樂部大臣特贈太子太保吏部尚書謚文敏顯考涇南府君行略》 所記," 張照在 “甲子春二月," 迎駕南海子," 乘馬驚墜傷右臂。”" 【 《云間張氏族譜》 ," 清同治甲戍重輯," 蔬香別墅藏本。】
后經蒙古醫治療而得愈。孔繼涑詩注中既言 “初謁公時," 方臂斷新愈”" ," 因知孔繼涑拜謁張照在乾隆九年 (1744) ," 當時十九歲。
(二)張應田與孔德榮的婚姻情況
關于張照子張應田與衍圣公孔廣棨長女孔德榮婚配之事," 張照孫張鑑在 《皇清誥封宜人晉封恭人顯妣孔太恭人行述》 中," 明確述及系張照父親張彚向孔家提親," 為張應田訂下這門婚事:
太恭人至圣孔子七十一代女孫," 外大父世襲衍圣公諱廣棨," 外大母何太夫人。太恭人生十五年而孤," 事外大母以孝。曾大父封尚書," 公聞其賢," 為先府君委禽焉。【 《云間張氏族譜》 。】
張應田妻孔德榮生于雍正八年 (1730) 十月," 小張應田兩歲。乾隆八年 (1743) 正月孔廣棨去世時," 孔德榮虛歲十四歲," 與張彚記 “太恭人生十五年而孤”" 的時間略有誤差。張彚 “聞其賢," 為先府君委禽焉”" ," 應該在乾隆八年 (1743) 之后。需要指出的是," 孔廣棨的夫人孔德榮母親何太夫人," 名何慶霄," 為禮部右侍郎何國宗次女。何國宗與張照同朝為官," 曾向張照請教筆法。【梁巘:" 《評書帖》 云:" “董公其昌傳執筆法于其邑沈公荃," 荃傳王公鴻緒," 鴻緒傳張公照," 照傳何公國宗," ……。一日," 同何公坐獄中," 何公叩至再三乃告," 仍屬勿泄。出獄何公遍語人……。”" 梁巘 《評書帖》 ,"" 《歷代書法論文選》 ," 上海: 上海書畫出版社," 1979年," 第574頁。】
張照與何國宗二人的密切關系," 對后來何慶霄將女兒許給張應田," 自然有相應的影響。
乾隆十年 (1745) ," 張照聞父親張彚病逝南歸," 舟行宿遷峒峿而卒。張照的去世," 對張家產生了很大的影響," 以至于乾隆十五年 (1750) 張應田與孔德榮的婚禮,nbsp; 也在曲阜舉行。【 《皇清誥封宜人晉封恭人顯妣孔太恭人行述》 記曰:" “十五年先府君就婚曲阜," 五月于歸。”"" 《云間張氏族譜》 。】
婚后的孔德榮在張家表現得十分賢淑," 對于已經去世公婆," “每以不及奉侍舅姑為恨。歲時祭祀," 必極豐潔。”" 同時與張應田 “相敬如賓”" ," 因婚后長時間無子," 能夠主動勸張應田 “置簉室以廣似續”" ," 延續張家香火," 對張應田繼室所生兩個兒子則 “撫愛有加," 無異己出。”" 在張照小女兒張無垢出嫁時," “為之籌備奩具," 纖悉不遺。”" 【 《云間張氏族譜》 。】
乾隆二十五年 (1760) 孔德榮三十一歲時," 生子張鈞。張鈞幼而聰慧," 可惜十歲時 “竟以痘殤”" 。雖然孔德榮得子晚且早觴," 其本人卻享高壽。嘉慶二十二年 (1817) ," 孔德榮以八十八歲高壽去世。其夫張應田在乾隆三十七年 (1772) 病卒于湖南衡永郴桂道任上," 早孔德榮逝四十五年。
二、" 張照傳孔繼涑筆法及為孔毓圻遺集書序
(一)張照傳孔繼涑筆法
孔繼涑 《玉虹樓遺稿》 有 《題張文敏公墨跡后》 詩," 于張照書法給予高度評價," 并對自己從張照學習筆法情況," 進行了明晰的記述:
精研八法仰天才," 神趣縱橫筆妙該。展卷曲江風度遠," 蘇黃名自御題來 (公病時," 御賜詩以解之," 有臨池應澀蘇黃手之句) 。評騭香光品未差," 珍希法寶勒天家 (上云: 張照書遠勝明董其昌,"" 《欽定天瓶齋法帖》 跋有法寶之語) 。廿年私淑慚趨步," 已恨云煙過眼花。懸臂中鋒幸得師," 拈毫曾許疾書之 (初謁公時," 方臂短新愈。已能作大字," 舉手加額以示) 。何期提命方殷藹," 誨語都成永訣詞。【[清]孔繼涑:" 《玉虹樓遺稿》 ," 第481-482頁。】
孔繼涑 “懸臂中鋒幸得師”" ," 顯然指張照親傳其筆法。關于張照 “懸臂法”" ," 孔繼涑曾言:" “張文敏學書法先懸臂畫圓圈," 三個月待得圈子打得圓凈純熟," 則用筆自然遒勁," 圓轉裕如。下筆作字," 自無扁鋒," 但畫圓字總不得參以指運。”" 【[清]孔繼涑:" 《論書隨筆》 ,"" 《玉虹樓法帖·隱默齋帖》 卷八。】
關于 “懸臂法”" 細節及實踐體會,"" 《孔葭谷臨鐘王小楷卷》 款識題識有述曰:" “作字不懸臂," 一世不得佳," 能懸臂則出筆自然不俗。晉宋間人瀟灑古淡正得此法也," 然非無間斷," 雖學已成功不能精熟。前人有謂腕不貼案即得虛圓," 不在懸之太高," 此遷就之說耳。余學之幾卅廿," 旋學旋輟," 迄于無成," 正以不能無斷續之故。要之不能懸臂作蠅頭書," 則三分大字雖能懸," 不佳。不能三分則五六分者," 不佳。推而至于寸許," 皆是一理。又往往冬月衣皮綿服," 時懸臂極熟," 一到夏月衣單則虛懸無薄," 皆未為成直。須赤身寫得真楷," 方為得法。行草通靈," 猶未為是也。功夫至此以后乃可用力學字。癸巳中伏," 揮汗作書課," 葭古繼涑。”" 對于孔繼涑的觀點," 邵松年于 《孔葭谷臨鐘王小楷卷》 后跋曰:" “先生此段議論確為得之天瓶。天瓶于臨 《舞鶴賦》 后略示其意," 先生于此直宣其秘," 以見學書之法。”" 【[清]邵松年:" 《古緣萃錄》 卷十五,"" 《續修四庫全書》" 第1088冊," 上海: 上海古籍出版社," 2002年," 第263頁。】

孔繼涑既得張照 “懸臂法”" 傳授," 承續張照筆法," 其亦為繼沈荃、" 王鴻緒、" 張照之后," 成為董其昌筆法傳人。
孔繼涑向張照學習書法述次已詳," 然其面謁張照并從其學書具體時間亦可探究。
孔繼涑少時于書法所知不多," 亦未專攻。與張應芝定親時," 張照贈以董其昌 《董其昌臨大仙帖》 和端硯," 但孔繼涑 “時方小," 未識其妙。”" 隨年齡增長," 孔繼涑始讀好書畫," “遂從文敏游," 得少承指畫。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864頁。】
孔繼涑于其 《論書隨筆》 又記曰:" “余于二十歲學張書," 及游京師," 往往得見唐宋元明真跡," 方曉古人拙筆之妙。拙多于巧," 方是大家風范," 從取豐姿終非上乘。”" 【[清]孔繼涑:" 《論書隨筆》 ,"" 《玉虹樓法帖·隱默齋帖》 卷八。】
孔繼涑記二十歲學張照書法," 當為誤記。若依孔繼涑所記二十歲學張照書法," 則張照當在乾隆十年 (1745) 傳孔繼涑筆法。檢張照行狀," 乾隆九年十二月三日," 張彚病卒," 張照丁憂回籍。乾隆十年正月十九日," 張照逝于宿遷峒峿舟中。因之," 乾隆十年," 孔繼涑無從張照學書的可能。孔繼涑 “懸臂中鋒幸得師”" ," 得張照親傳筆法的時間當在乾隆九年 (1744) ," 即前述孔繼涑十九歲第一次見張照的時間。所遺憾者," 孔繼涑 “從文敏游”" 僅一年時間。然所欣喜者," 孔繼涑終承續了張照的衣缽。
孔繼涑學張照書法而能深入其精神," 在時人均推譽張照時," 卻又能不從于時論, "有自己獨到的認知:
近時多宗尚張文敏," 輒奉為本朝第一," 品居董香光之上。文敏自謂一生學董未到," 故有 “未到此中真實位," 爭知施女有東西”" 之句。余即從張入門," 奉為嚴師者," 卻不敢存崇尚太過之見。本朝名書雖多," 尚未見獨自成家者。【[清]孔繼涑:" 《谷園論畫隨筆》 ," 林志鈞 《林志鈞〈帖考〉手稿》 ," 北京: 中華書局," 2016年," 第239頁。】
作為張照筆法的承續者," 尤其二人還有著翁婿關系," 孔繼涑能提出 “不敢存崇尚太過之見”" ," 殊能不與人同," 亦可見其認知高度。
(二)張照書序孔毓圻 《恭慤公蘭堂遺稿》
孔毓圻 (1657―1723) ," 字鐘在," 又字翊宸," 號蘭堂。山東曲阜人。孔子第六十七代嫡長孫," 康熙六年 (1667) 襲封衍圣公。好詩文," 工擘窠大字," 善墨蘭," 得元人趙孟頫之旨。乾隆九年 (1744) ," 孔毓圻去世二十一年后," 孔繼汾、" 孔繼涑搜集其祖父衍圣公孔毓圻詩成 《恭慤公蘭堂遺稿》 ," 并請張照、" 陳邦彥書序。

從康熙五十四年 (1715) 入直內廷," 到康熙六十一年 (1722) 康熙帝駕崩," 張照一直侍從康熙往熱河避暑。很顯然," 張照作為侍從之臣," 八年間一直在康熙身邊。若康熙五十四年 (1715) 以后," 孔毓圻來京覲見," 張照便有和孔毓圻相識及交往的可能。
檢 《清實錄》 ," 康熙五十五年 (1716) 三月," 孔毓圻來京覲見康熙," 朝廷于三月十六日," “宴衍圣公孔毓圻于禮部。”" 【 《清實錄·圣祖實錄》 卷二六七,"" 《清實錄》" (第6冊) ," 第625頁。】
又," 雍正元年," 雍正帝以 “追念先師德澤," 崇封五代王爵”" ," 孔毓圻來京謝恩," 不意在十一月間因病去世。【雍正元年 (1723) 十一月乙未," “諭內閣: 衍圣公孔毓圻襲爵多年," 克守成法," 敬慎素著。因朕追念先師德澤," 崇封五代王爵。謝恩來京," 不期患病溘逝。朕心深為軫悼," 遣大臣賜奠茶酒。”" 載 《清實錄·世宗實錄》 卷一三,"" 《清實錄》" (第七冊) ," 第237頁。】
孔毓圻處 “闕里之堂," 東山泗水之勝," 天下所仰望。”" 其 “入都朝覲," 而彤弓湛露," 恩禮有加," 如是者五十余年。退而與在朝公卿游。公神采煥發," 見者莫不傾倒。往來贈答無虛時," 至于海內知名士靡不爭出其門下。”" 【[清]張照:" 《恭慤公蘭堂遺稿序》 ," 孔毓圻 《恭慤公蘭堂遺稿》 ," 清乾隆九年 (1744) 刻本。】
“見者莫不傾倒”" 的人物中," 張照亦應與焉。張照與孔毓圻的交往," 雖不徵于文獻。但作為王九齡的外孫," 高士奇的孫女婿," 以書法擅名的張照," 遇到亦工擘窠大書," 擅蘭草的孔毓圻," 亦能夠以直南書房身份的便利," 與孔毓圻結識并交往。
三、" 孔繼涑輯 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 并搜集張照書跡刻石成帖
(一)孔繼涑輯 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》
張照七世孫張宗祜于 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 卷尾有識曰:" “七世祖文敏公 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 二卷," 曲阜孔氏刊本世已罕見," 族祖溫和公重刊," 宗祜敬謹珍藏。近聞杜詩庭先生藏有晦堂公補輯題跋一冊," 亟欲一觀," 倩封丈庸庵為介得以假歸," 乃刊本所遺溫和公所未見者也。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第873頁。 】
張宗祜所言 “曲阜孔氏刊本”" ," 即由孔繼涑所刊," 是 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 最早版本。之后經過張照從孫張祥和等人第次補充," 方成今日規模。
關于張照書畫題跋資料," 孔繼涑是從所見張照書跡 “有批尾者必錄之別紙”" ," 但 “顧于見聞," 所獲無幾。”" 至 “壬辰," 赴禮闈試," 謁鹺使沈欽伯先生于都門。先生與涑有同嗜," 出所錄合之," 遂得裒然成冊。……且文敏著作等身," 身后率皆散佚," 則是區區者尤吉光片羽不可不亟傳也," 爰付之剞劂氏以公同好。倘海內鑒賞家出其篋衍," 俾得賡續以終之," 則更幸甚。乾隆癸巳冬十月," 子婿孔繼涑拜跋。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864-865頁。】
孔繼涑所刊 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 系綜合自己及沈栻所藏張照書畫題跋資料所成。沈栻為乾隆十六年 (1751) 進士," 工書法。其舅父蔣迪甫為張照好友," 藏張照書跡頗夥。沈栻在舅父家 “遺篋中見此冊," 始愛之。繼游舅氏園亭," 見其題榜," 并示觀各手跡都識于心。及予庚午計偕北上," 而文敏下世閱有年矣。都門師友所藏文敏墨跡予無不假觀," 合前后所見不下數十余種," 其有跋語者悉錄副本藏弆之。……昨春予再入京師," 晤曲阜孔君葭谷。……復以題跋見詢," 因即其家舊本," 而以予向所錄者附益之。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864頁。】
沈栻跋 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 署 “癸巳秋七月," 南沙后學沈栻書。”" 孔繼涑跋 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 署 “乾隆癸巳冬十月," 子婿孔繼涑拜跋。”" 因知二人合輯 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 在乾隆三十八年 (1773) 。 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 刊成時間亦當在此時。今人探究張照書學觀念," 及相關清前期書學文獻," 多賴此書," 其重要如此。
(二)孔繼涑搜集張照書跡刻石成帖
孔繼涑刊 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 外," 更搜集張照書跡刻石成帖。張照去世后不久," 孔繼涑就開始了對張照書跡的搜集和刻石:
既而文敏下世," 妙跡永絕。涑家無只字莫可臨摹," 遂從戚友之弆藏者假觀," 觀必假歸勒石以為永式。【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864頁。】

《欽定天瓶齋法帖》 刻成于乾隆二十二年 (1757) ," 故 《玉虹樓法帖》 中移刻于 《欽定天瓶齋法帖》 的張照書跡," 系乾隆二十二年 (1757) 后所刊。
沈栻于乾隆三十七年 (1772) 與孔繼涑在京師相識," 其有記云:" “葭谷為文敏婿," 蓋親見其懸臂作楷而得其真傳者," 文敏遺跡," 葭谷既廣為搜羅鉤勒上石。”" 【[清]張照:" 《天瓶齋書畫題跋》 ," 第864頁。】
前后聯系," 孔繼涑在乾隆十年 (1745) 去世后," 至乾隆三十七年 (1772) 前后," 廣泛搜集張照書跡陸續刊石。
孔繼涑搜求張照書法摹勒," 積久而成 《玉虹帖》 十六卷、"" 《瀛海仙班帖》 十卷、"" 《臨中興頌帖》 二卷、"" 《張文敏小楷》 一卷、"" 《張文敏書詩》 一卷," 凡一百一十件作品," 皆輯入 《玉虹樓法帖》 。此一百一十件作品大概可分為三類: 其一," 為張照書御制詩或敕作詩作品九件; 其二," 為張照臨古作品七十八件; 其三," 為張照書其他佛經、" 古詩文、" 自作文、" 手札、" 題跋等作品二十三件。
張照書法由孔繼涑銘石于曲阜玉虹樓," 雖歷經朝代更迭、" 戰亂," 其書跡卻得以完整保存," 規模之大," 水平之高," 摹刻之精," 全國僅此而已。這對后人研究張照的書法," 無疑有巨大意義。僅以帖中張照臨古作品而論," 七十八件臨作中," 概有臨鍾繇三件," 臨王羲之十件," 臨王獻之二件," 臨歐陽詢三件," 臨顏真卿四件," 臨柳公權二件," 臨楊凝式二件," 臨蘇軾十一件," 臨黃庭堅二件," 臨米芾十一件," 臨趙孟頫七件," 臨董其昌八件。臨庾亮、" 王僧虔、"" 《萬歲通天帖》 、" 唐人草書、" 褚遂良、" 孫過庭、" 薛稷、" 顧愷之 《女史箴圖》 書、" 徐浩、" 裴耀卿、" 鍾少京、" 懷素、" 王晉卿、" 朱熹等書帖各一件。由張照臨摹古代書家作品數量," 可知其取法古人之廣博。孔氏刻張照書帖價值," 于斯可見。
張照書跡刻石藏于曲阜孔廟," 對張照書法的傳播無疑也起到了推動作用。近人沙孟海孔繼涑所刻張照帖云:" “張照的 《玉虹鑒真》 ," 不能不說它是近代數一數二的法帖," 雖然比不上 《擬山園》 ," 但總比 《筠清館》" (吳榮光) 好些。”" 【沙孟海:" 《沙孟海論書文集》 ," 上海: 上海書畫出版社," 1997年," 第47頁。】
沙孟海以張照 《玉虹鑒真帖》 比之于王鐸 《擬山園帖》 》 ," 雖言不及," 然亦能知張照其書其帖在清代的整體影響力," 此亦可證孔繼涑刻張照書跡成帖的影響。
四、" 從張孔姻親視角看乾隆對兩家后人的關注
(一)乾隆詔孔繼涑以張照體書和御制元韻
張照家族的名望和影響固不及衍圣公家族," 但以其于清雍正朝、" 乾隆朝深得兩代帝王信任與倚重," 官居刑部尚書高位的身份," 對衍圣公家族亦自有其助益。
乾隆特重張照書法," 二人書法交往綿密。乾隆十年 (1745) 張照去世," 自乾隆十一年 (1746) 乾隆跋王羲之 《快雪時晴帖》 ," 錄自作 《雪詩》 有懷與張照唱和句,【乾隆跋 《快雪時晴帖》 有 “卻憶澄海禁水部”" 句," 下注曰:" “癸亥冬," 澄海樓與張照、" 梁詩正聯句," 凡字涉水部者概不許用。”" 載 《石渠寶笈》 ,"" 《四庫全書》" (第824冊) ," 上海: 上海古籍出版社," 1987年," 第545頁。】
直至乾隆五十八年 (1793) ," 乾隆跋張照題 《繪事羅珍·唐岱仿各家山水》 冊,【乾隆題 《繪事羅珍·唐岱仿各家山水》 云:" “此冊向貯香山, "愛照詞翰超逸," 來必閱賞。此詩庚青蒸通用," 乃末句慳韻," 闌入十五刪。五十余年," 始知其誤," 可發一噱。癸丑清和," 御識。”" 載 《石渠寶笈三編》 ,"" 《續修四庫全書》" 第1074冊," 第684頁。】
于張照書跡多有題跋。更于 《懷張照》 贊張照書法云:" “書有米之雄," 而無米之畧。復有董之整," 而無董之弱。羲之后一人," 舍照誰能若。”" 【張照去世后," 乾隆題跋張照書畫情況," 梁驥在 《 “羲之后一人”" ——乾隆對張照書跡的題跋》 中有詳細論述。待刊。】
于張照書跡愛重如此。
乾隆四十九年 (1784) 二月十日," 乾隆皇帝巡幸闕里," 據 《清實錄》 所記," 二月十日," 乾隆 “謁少昊陵”" 后," “至曲阜謁先師廟”" ," “遣官祭啟圣林及顏子、" 曾子、" 子思、" 孟子祠。”" 十一日," 乾隆 “詣先師廟," 行釋奠禮。”" 復 “詣孔林酹酒”" ," “詣元圣周公廟行禮”" 。【 《清實錄·高宗實錄》 卷一一九八,"" 《清實錄》" 第24冊," 第27頁。】
在 “大禮慶成”" 之后," 乾隆召見了孔繼涑," 并敕其以張照字體作書。孔繼涑 《甲辰二月," 駕幸闕里," 大禮慶成。召赴軍機處用張照字體作書敬和御制元韻恭紀》 詩記此事頗詳:
廟林丹雘與分蘉," 為仰青旂賁魯鄉。九拜隆儀鈞樂奏," 五云睿藻玉音長。頒來文綺從齋服," 捧下精醪出尚方。兄弟并蒙天語問," 尤慚臣職愧楊常。
世渥鴻施敢不蘉," 養親未仕伏鄹鄉。再輸棘戰年垂暮 (己丑壬辰兩上春官被黜) ," 七覲楓宸澤自長 (蒙賜二緞三宴五) 。昔侍經筵叨典禮 (戊辰幸魯經筵敬充講官) ," 今書圣制運圓方 (上云張照書體方而筆圓) ," 小臣何幸蒙天顧," 永勵操觚守舊常。
卌年懸臂墨池蘉," 未敢因斯望帝鄉。已愧姓名邀睿聽," 何堪波磔獻微長。思深不厭觀三幅 (敬書二幅進呈," 奉旨易書又進。得旨: 酷似張照," 留覽發懋勤殿) ," 志壯非忘在四方。為報稱惟遵孝治," 旨甘定省識之常。【[清]孔繼涑:" 《玉虹樓遺稿》 ," 第490-492頁。】
孔繼涑 “昔侍經筵叨典禮”" 詩下自注 “戊辰幸魯經筵敬充講官”" 事,"" 《清實錄》 亦載。乾隆十三年 (1748) 二月己卯 (二十五日) ," “上詣詩禮堂。命舉人孔繼汾進講中庸凡為天下國家有九經節," 貢生孔繼涑進講周易臨卦象辭……。”" 【 《清實錄·高宗實錄》 卷三二,"" 《清實錄》 第13冊," 第51頁。】
孔繼汾、" 孔繼涑為乾隆進講系孔府所定," 衍圣公孔昭煥自然將二人身份情況上奏乾隆," 孔繼涑與張照關系," 亦必為乾隆所知。當時孔繼涑進講周易臨卦象辭," 未及書法。 “今書圣制運圓方”" 句有自注云:" “上云張照書體方而筆圓”" ," 顯然系乾隆于孔繼涑之間對話的描述。而孔繼涑 “敬書二幅進呈," 奉旨易書又進。得旨: 酷似張照," 留覽發懋勤殿”" ," 則直言乾隆對孔繼涑書跡的認可。結合詩題可知," 乾隆在看到孔繼涑進呈的兩件作品后," 命孔繼涑再以張照字體作書進呈。乾隆對孔繼涑書法的認可," 重要原因是其書 “酷似張照。”
孔繼涑奉敕以張照字體作書事," 清人記孔氏書者," 多言及此," 可見影響之廣:
高廟南巡," 臨書以進," 上熟視曰:" “好像張照。”" 【 《遼海叢書·皇清書史》 卷二十三梁紹壬 《兩般秋雨盦隨筆》 ," 沈陽: 遼海出版社," 2009年," 第1712頁。】
甲辰禮成," 上于中水行宮命君仿張書以進。奉旨: 好像張照。留覽發懋勤殿。【[清]梁同書:" 《頻羅庵遺集》 ," 第130頁。】
值上東巡," 于中水行宮召使作書。及進," 上稱善。【[清]姚鼐 《惜抱軒全集》 ," 第145頁。】
乾隆甲辰仲春," 高宗純皇帝幸闕里," 敕孔繼涑依張照體作字。【[清]張廷濟:" 《清儀閣題跋》 ,"" 《中國書畫全書》" 第11冊," 上海: 上海書畫出版社," 1997年," 第737頁。】
乾隆敕孔繼涑以張照體作書," 可視為以張照得此殊榮。此榮耀不獨屬于孔繼涑," 亦屬于衍圣公家族。張照雖已去世三十九年," 然仍能延福于孔繼涑," 亦可見兩家姻親關系的影響。
(二)孔德榮命張鑑進京謝恩及乾隆對孔德榮的垂問
乾隆四十七年 (1782) ," 張照之孫張鑑進京," 向乾隆呈進張照 《梅花畫箑》 。乾隆御題 《張照梅花畫箑》 云:" “華亭入志沛新綸," 來謝兼呈手跡真。日下卻思談往事," 云間那可闕斯人。箑書士孝要之道," 幀詠梅花逸以神。鑒也毋忘勖家學," 昌乎只恐怯前鄰。張照之孫鑒來謝恩," 呈進其祖墨跡," 賜之帛并題是什。壬寅孟秋," 山莊御筆。”" 【 《張照梅花畫箑》 ,"" 《欽定石渠寶笈續編》 ,"" 《續修四庫全書》" 第1072冊," 第257頁。】
乾隆詩中 “華亭入志沛新綸”" ," 指出張照收入 《大清一統志》 事。乾隆四十七年 (1782) 正月," 乾隆閱 《大清一統志》 ," 見志中松江人物只載王頊齡、" 王鴻緒等人," 未收錄張照," 認為 “纂辦一統志," 竟將伊姓氏里居概從刪削," 殊屬非是。”" 乾隆清楚 《大清一統志》 不收張照事跡," 是因為其 “從前辦理貴州苗疆曾經獲罪," 又其獄中所題白云亭詩," 語意感憤。”" 但無論如何," 張照 “文采風流," 實不愧其鄉賢董其昌。即董其昌亦豈竟純全之正人君子哉!使竟不登志乘," 傳示藝林," 致一代文人學士," 不數十年竟歸泯沒," 可乎?”" 進而明確提出:" “是朕之待張照," 始終成全。原不以一眚之微," 終使擯棄," 可謂極儒臣之榮遇。即將來國史中," 亦當令載筆之臣," 將伊事跡詳晰編入。何此時纂辦一統志," 轉佚其名耶?總之," 張照雖不得謂醇儒," 而其資學明敏," 書法精工," 實為海內所共推重。瑕瑜不掩," 公論自在。所有此次進呈之一統志," 即將張照管秩出處事跡一并載入。”" 【 《清實錄·高宗實錄》 卷一一四九,"" 《清實錄》" (第23冊) ," 第405-406頁。】
因乾隆諭張照入 《大清一統志》 ," 方有張鑑進京," 持 《張照梅花畫箑》 呈進乾隆," 以為謝恩。
張鑑進京謝恩," 是由其母親孔德榮直接促成。 《皇清誥封宜人晉封恭人顯妣孔太恭人行述》 記曰:" “又明年壬寅," 先大父蒙特恩載入 《大清一統志》 。太恭人寄書回," 命不孝赴京謝恩。又蒙召至軍機處傳旨垂問," 復命大學士臣梁國治敬書御制七律一章以賜。奎章璀璨," 恭捧出都。順省太恭人于曲阜," 遂侍旋里。”【 《云間張氏族譜》 。】
乾隆三十七年 (1772) ," 張應田病卒湖南衡永郴桂道任上," 此后孔德榮長時間居住在曲阜。因有孔德榮在曲阜將朝廷所頒 《大清一統志》 寄至松江," 并命張鑑進京謝恩。此時孔德榮的弟弟孔昭煥已襲封衍圣公。孔德榮所寄 《大清一統志》 ," 當為朝廷頒賜孔府者。
作為孔子第七十一代女孫," 孔德榮曾 “三次朝太后”" ," “蒙恩召見," 垂問極詳。”" 有 “珍珠翠花荷包之賜”," 及 “命賜珍珠翠花二枝彩繒二端。憲皇后親摘冠上所御絨花以賜," 尤異數也”" 【 《云間張氏族譜》 。】。
多次得到皇后召見的孔德榮," 更命其子張鑑數次在乾隆南巡時," 往駐蹕處覲見:
明年春," 恭遇純皇帝五次南巡," 太恭人命不孝趨詣行在所," 蒙恩召問: 爾母在家抑在曲阜?臣鑒以臣母在家對," 天顏甚藹。
四十九年春," 恭遇純皇帝六次南巡," 太恭人又命不孝恭詣行在所," 蒙恩召見," 垂問臣母年齒," 溫綸稠疊," 糜踵難酬。【 《云間張氏族譜》 。】
得到帝王的召見," 自為家族榮耀。作為張照之孫," 張鑑能夠在乾隆南巡時覲見皇帝," 有乾隆顧念舊臣的因素。而乾隆在兩次召見張鑑時均垂問孔德榮的情況可知," 張鑑獲乾隆召見," 亦有孔德榮作為圣裔身份的因素。衍圣公孔氏家族與張照家族的姻親關系," 在張照逝后," 在相當長的時間內維護了張照家族的影響。
Research on the Affinity Between Zhang Zhao Familuy and Family of
Confucius’s Descendants as well as the Calligraphy-Related Affairs

Abstract: Zhang Yingzhi,Zhang Zhao’s daughter, married Kong Jisu, Confucius’s 69th generation grandson. Zhang Yingtian, Zhang Zhao’s son, married Kong Derong, confucius’s 71th granddaughter, forming affinity between two families. Kong Jisu kept intimate relationship with Zhang Family although Zhang Yingzhi died young after marriage. He learned calligraphy from Zhang Zhao and asked Zhang Zhao to write foreword for the collection of Kong Yuqi, his grandfather. He collected Zhang Zhao’s calligraphy works and Zhang Zhao’s prefaces and postscripts as a Tianpingzhai Calligraphy amp; Painting Prefaces and Postscripts Collection. His collection of Zhang Zhao’s calligraphy played an important role in the dissemination of his fame. The two family’s affinity had also got the attentions of Emperor Qianlong and the Empress. The emperor visited the family and asked Kong Jisu to write in Zhang Zhao’s style. Kong Derong, Zhang Yingtian’s wife had appeared before the Empress Dowager three times. Emperor Qianlong asked about the recent wellbeing of Kong Kerong when he met with Zhang Jian. These are the influence upon their descendants brought upon by their affinity.
