一、教學目標
(1)能聽懂、會說、會讀和會拼寫單詞shape.triangle,rectangle,square,circle.
(2)能聽懂、會說、會讀句型What shape is the…?及其應答It’s a/an…句型How many…can you see?及其應答I can see…和句子Come to the blackboardand show us how to do it.
(3)能正確理解課文,掌握所學對話,并能夠運用所學單詞和句型與同學談論與形狀有關的圖片、物體及相關知識。
二、教學準備
CAI課件、錄音機、課文磁帶、軟盤、圓盒子、糖果若干。
三、教學過程
Step 1 Warming up
1.Sing a song-“We can sing and dance”

T:What can you do?

(由歌曲內容引入師生交談話題,自然過渡。)
Step 2 Presentation
1.Learn the new word“triangle”.
T:Now you can ask me.
S:What can you do.Mr.Liu?
T:I can draw something.Look.(畫一些圖形)I candraw some shapes.(板書shapes)
(教師通過簡筆畫來新授單詞shape,直觀形象,便于學生理解記憶。)
T:Now I’m going to draw another shape.Look!(畫一個三角)

T:We say this is an angle.(板書angle)
Ss:Angle.
T:(再以其一邊畫一個三角)How many angles canyou see?

S:I can see two angles.
T:(再畫一個三角,使剛才的圖形成為一個三角形)

S:I can see 3 angles.
T:Then.what shape is this?
T:It’s a triangle.
Ss:Triangle.(學生兩人一組輪流操練)
(在新授三角形triangle時,從一個角angle著手,由分到合,層層遞進,直觀形象,便于學生理解和記憶。)
2.Learn the new word“rectangle”.
T:Look.here’s an English book.Who can draw ashape of this book?
Sl:I can.
T:Come to the blackboard and show us how to doit.
(這句話在解決實際任務時出示.讓學生在真實情景中學習新句子,實現了英語與實際生活的結合。真正做到學以致用。然后教師指導學生正確朗讀,有效避免了學生把這個長句子讀破的情況。)

T:Good.Now look,(兩手夾住一張軟盤,讓學生看側面)What shape is it?.
S:It’s a rectangle.

1.課件出示以下3張圖片

S:And the yo-yo is a circle.
2.Say a rhyme
Triangle,triangle,the colock is a triangle.
Rectangle,rectangle,the blackboard is a rectangle.
Circle,eircle,the yo-yo is a circle.
Square,square,what is a square?
(用短rhyme及時鞏固所學單詞,簡單有效。)
Step 4 Leading in Part A
1.Talk about the picture of the text
T:What is a square? Can you find any squares inthe picture?
(由Rhvme中的問題引入A部分課文內容的學習,過渡巧妙自然。)
S:I can.The kite is a square.
T:Well done.Look,who are thev?
S:Miss Li and her students.
T:Is it a Maths lesson?
S:No,it’s an Art lesson.
T:ExceUent,why do you say it’s an Art lesson?
S:Because Miss Li is teaching them shapes.
T:Well done.and the students ale…
S:Listening to the teaeher.
T:The students are learning hOW to draw shapes.
2.Try to act.
T:Now if you’re Miss Li.What Would you say to thestudents?Now come on,have a try,I’m sure you can doit.(叫一學生上臺做老師,與其他同學對話互動。)
(本環節是本課一個大膽的嘗試,即在打開課本之前,讓一個學生扮演Miss Li,然后根據教學掛圖與全班同學進行對話互動,因為課文前半部分并不難,這是很好的綜合實踐的機會。)
