招聘和應聘啟事類寫作點撥

一、使用語言要規范

在招聘、應聘啟事等應用文中，使用的語言要正式、規范，避免使用“well， by the way， of course， do you know， why?”等口頭用語。

二、使用時態要正確

應用文常使用一般現在時表一般性的規律和事實，若表示在過去或將來某時間發生的事情時，才使用過去時或將來時。

三、統一人稱，變換表達

首先，建議使用第三人稱。如the applicant(s)， the employee(s)， he， they等，避免使用“you”等直接對話才使用的稱呼。但在招聘啟事的末句，若想鼓勵、呼吁“勝任該工作的人報名參加”時，可使用you，這樣更直接、更有感染力，句子可翻譯為“If you think you are competent， you are welcome to sign up for the job.”

其次，人稱要統一。避免一個句子使用he或the applicant等第三人稱單數稱呼，而另外一個句子卻使用they或the applicants等復數人稱。為了豐富語言表達，避免單一乏味，學生還可以變換表達來稱呼對象。例如：

1. 直接稱呼。根據文章的寫作要求，直接稱呼對象：the applicant(s) / volunteer(s) / employee(s) /participant(s)/ contestant(s)/ interviewee(s) / competitor(s)等。

2. 使用定語從句、主語從句間接稱呼對象。如：those who want to apply for the job; anyone who is interested in the job; whoever wants to join us; people /those with enthusiasm for the job等。

四、熟記常用短語和句型

以下簡單歸納該類文章常用的有關個人“素質、能力”等表達。

1. 興趣愛好。這類詞有like， be fond of， be keen on， (music/ sports) lover / fan， take / show interest in， be interested in， be crazy about， have a preference for等。

2. 技能特長。這類詞有have some basic knowledge of， have a wide range of knowledge of， know something about， be equipped with the skills of， have the ability of (doing) sth.， master sth.， have a good command of， be good at， have/show talent for等。

3. 勝任條件。這類詞有sb. be able to do， sb. need to / have to/ should do; be equal to sth.， be competent / qualified / fit / suitable for sth.等。如：

（1）As a volunteer， you are expected /supposed /required to work three hours a day.

（2）It is required that the volunteers should be equipped with the basic knowledge of Chinese.

（3）The ability of communicating with others in Chinese is needed / required / important / essential / necessary as well.

5. 報名參加。這類詞有sign up for， enter for， participate in， take part in， join (sb.) in sth.等。

6. 提交信息。

send one’s application form to the website， sign up for the voluntary work on the website， click / search / log on to http://ff2010.org， submit / fill in one’s application form

五、豐富語言、適當變換

1. 變換詞性。“工作有熱情”可翻譯為： be enthusiastic about the job（使用形容詞）； work with enthusiasm（使用名詞）；work enthusiastically（使用副詞）

2. 變換句型。

（1）Priority will be given to those who are in good health， aged between 18 and 40.

（2）We have a preference for the healthy volunteers whose age range from 18 to 40.

（3）Those who are enthusiastic and responsible for work are welcomed.

（4）If you are the person with enthusiasm and responsibility， you are welcome to be one of us.

（5）We welcome those who can fluently speak English and skillfully communicate with others in English.

（6）We are in need of the person who speaks fluent English and masters good communicative skills in English.

六、適當增加，但要切題

我們可緊扣翻譯，適當增加句子的狀語或定語成分，但不能額外增加一個與寫作內容無關的新句子，這樣不符合五個句子的寫作要求。如：（下劃線部分為適當增加部分）

(1)As a volunteer， the applicant should take interest in Chinese culture and architecture.

(2)If you think you are qualified for the job， you can submit your application on our website.

(3)Most importantly， you should be a devoted music lover and communicate well with others in Chinese.

(4)In order to offer good service， a foreign volunteer whose native language is English needs to have some communication skills in Chinese

2010年廣州將舉辦第16屆亞洲運動會，某大學英語俱樂部擬招募一批志愿者為亞運會服務。
