二、教學內容分析
本課時是人教新課標版必修2 Unit 1中Reading部分。主要講述The Amber Room的奇怪歷史以及近期的重建,旨在讓學生在閱讀中學習有關的語言知識,提高閱讀技能,激發學生對琥珀屋作為cultural relic的歷史知識的認識和保護cultural relics 的意識。
三、設計思想
1.由于是一篇閱讀課,設計的基本原則之一就是要訓練學生的各種常見閱讀技巧,比如迅速瀏覽,包括圖片和題目以及首尾段、主題句等找主旨大意;原則之二就是讓學生通過閱讀文章,了解琥珀屋的歷史、失蹤的情況以及近期的重建。
2.鑒于我校學生的實際情況和本節公開課的特點,借助課件我設計了用填空的形式讓學生了解課文以時間為線索的敘事特點,用True or False來進一步檢查學生對課文的理解情況。另外,對長難句及語法項目則采取先體驗再理論總結并付之于課后習題實踐的原則。
四、Teaching aims:
1.Get the students to know about the strange history of the amber room by using various reading skills.
2.Motivate the students to treasure and protect the important cultural relics.
3.Be more familiar with the Attribute Clause: the restrictive Attribute Clause and the non-Attribute Clause.

Step One Free talk
1. How many cultural relics can you name?

Step Two Lead-in
(設計說明:用琥珀圖片導入本節閱讀內容,提示學生注意點在In Search Of和Room上)
Step Three Reading and Skimming

(設計說明:在這一環節里,要求學生先讀問題,然后帶著問題去聽課文,一方面注意語音、語調;另一方面為回答問題做好準備。聽力結束后,學生分組討論問題并派代表等待展示。)
