May 2013， Yankuang Group decided to make a big decision： salary of management turn to 50%， cancel employeess bonus and dismiss part of employees. Yankuang now reach the deadline of reform.

After that， new chairman and president get to their position. But what they face is not the boss of coal industry. Oppositely， over billions lost is their main problem.

Exchange rage movement is the cause how the company explain their lost. But it is not enough for investors. Now argument is from the inside. Decisions which were made in the past ten years are focus.

But the situation is complex， this case more reflects the predicament of local giant energy enterprises.

CNPCs LNG Ambition

LNG gets more and more important for Chinas nature gas market. But CNPC as the biggest oil company in China， do not grasp enough LNG source.

Now CNPC decides to pursue its competitions： SINOPEC and CNOOC. It is not easy. CNPC has to face more cost problems， because its LNG receiving station si built too late.

Of course， theproblemisn't stopping there.

Extra-high Voltage Argument

Extra-high voltage is not fangle in China. But since it was been mentioned， it had too much censure.

In 2013， there are a lot of meetings or conferences about extra-high voltage. Actually， State Grid got a big plan for extra-high voltage. Liu Zhengya said about it almost nine years ago：” Extra-high voltage will be a important mission of State Grid.”

Difficulties and crosscurrent never stop State Grids steps. But on the other side， it have yet to launch the 12nd Five-Year Telecommunication Plan of State Grid Corporation of China.

How extra-high voltage， which come to a deadlock， break the present situation？ When can we see the 12nd Five-Year Telecommunication Plan？
