【教學內容】
6B Unit 5 A party(story time)
本單元story time板塊的主題為兒童節聚會。本課時分為兩個部分進行,第一部分介紹了在Party開始之前需要準備的東西和完成的任務,第二部分主要通過旁白和參加Party的人們之間的對話來學習英語技巧。
【教學目標】
1.理解并熟練應用新單詞clown以及appear。
2.熟練應用這些句型:What are you going to bring to the party?Im going to bring some cake.
3.對美國的Party文化有所了解,學習Party上需要遵守的禮儀。
【教學重點、難點】
1.自我理解課程內容。
2.課文的復述和角色對話。
【教學過程】
開課前播放歌曲“Party time”。
設計意圖:營造情景,提升學生的求知欲和興趣。
Step 1 Pre-reading
1.Greetings
2.T:Good morning,students!
Ss:Good morning,teacher!
T:Im going to show you a song. But remember this question that you have to answer when we finish the song:what are they going to do?(PPT 播放音樂)
T:Well,we are going to answer these questions.(幻燈片展示歌曲中的人物)
T:OK, the first question is:What is Jeeby going to do?
Ss:She is going to sing a song.
T:Good job!Students,you have so good memory!And you know they are going to do so many different things,I guess that they are going to have a party.(課題展示,領讀課文)
設計意圖:利用歌曲營造歡快的課堂氣氛。讓學生帶著問題去聽,介紹了本課程的主題——party,提前帶學生進入到party氛圍中。
Step 2 While-reading
1.Watch and answer
T:Now we know that someone is going to have a party,what do you want to know about their party?
S1:The time.
S2:The place.
S3:...
T:Well,now we have some questions:who is going to go to the party,when is the party, where is the party.(點擊幻燈片)Now, lets find the answers from the cartoon.(播放視頻)
T&Ss:Check the answers and read this paragraph together.(通過板書將思維導圖呈現在學生面前)
設計意圖:六年級學生已經擁有了比較豐富的語言知識。對插圖中信息的探索,培養其對英語的興趣。
2.Read and circle
T:They are going to have a party on Childrens day. We know, to have a party, we should prepare so many things. If you are one of them, what are you going to bring?
Ss:Im going to bring.(學生自由發揮)
T:Wonderful! Lets see what are the children going to bring? Open your books and turn to Page 48.
T:You can tell me your answer with this sentence“×× is going to bring ... to the party.”(教師將學生回答的答案板書出來,通過板書帶領學生學習新單詞“Snacks”)
T:It is Sunday morning. The children bring...to...Look at the picture,can you find Liu Tao?
Ss:No.
T:Where is Liu Tao?
Ss:We dont know.
T:Just then, a clown appears(帶領學生體會clown,appear的不
同讀音)
T:Who is the clown?
Ss:He is Liu Tao.
3.Read and find
T:Well,students. Now the party begins. But what are they going to do first?Please turn to Page 4 and try to find the answer.
Ss:The answer is B.
T:Yes!It means do something more interesting!So,children,are you going to eat or play?
Ss:Play!
T:OK!Lets listen again!在聽的過程中注意重音位置,選擇疑問句有難度,需要重點講解。
設計意圖:對于閱讀教學來說,最關鍵的是如何在閱讀中展開有效的教學活動。學生在教師的帶領下,在圖片中尋找信息,并將信息表達出來,這對于加強學生對課程內容的理解是很有幫助的,學生也能夠在自主學習中體會到成就感。
4.Think and say 情感教育
T:Are they happy?
Ss:Yes!
T:They get everything prepared.
設計意圖:我們學習一門外語,不單單是學習一種語言形式,更要對影響語言的歷史文化背景有所了解。實際上是對學生的情商教育,即做任何事情之前,都要充分準備好。
5.Read after the computer
完成了對課程內容的講解和學習后,再在錄音的引導下朗讀課文,這是對課程知識點的簡單復習,學生也會對句型的使用更加熟練,避免在接下來的復述環節中出現錯誤。
6.Try to retell
設計意圖:對于六年級小學生而言,復述作為一種口語訓練方式,難度較高。復述的過程,是對語言組織能力和表達能力的培養。
7.Try to act
設計意圖:由于本課程內容兩大部分采取了不同的敘述形式,這是本課程角色扮演最大的困難。但這種訓練方法對于培養學生活學活用的能力是非常有效的。
