【Abstract】With the rapid development of information technology, our national education is getting more and more informationalized. On different walks of educational and teaching fields, we can clearly witness the practice and development of multimedia technology. As a new teaching method with videos being the main carrier. Micro class has been accepted and acknowledged bu most people in the current society. It assists to teach through some short but refined teaching videos which exactly serve for English teaching. Moreover, micro class makes it true that students on different levels can benefit from it. It can satisfy students varied demands so that the efficiency of teaching can be boosted and students become more active in English study. The thesis mainly discusses the use of micro class in English teaching from the following aspects: the advantages of micro class, the way how to use it, the teaching and learning between teachers and students.. The passage also tries to dig out the value that micro class has in English teaching to a maximum extent.

Micro class differs from the traditional way of collective teaching. It takes on the teaching materials with the assistance of the form of multimedia.Through students self-study, a whole teaching procedure is done. Therefore, teachers can achieve a better teaching result.Only if we keep in pace with time and introduce in some modern technology and we constantly improve our teaching methods can we effectively boost our quality of English teaching. So micro class play an important role in Junior Middle School English teaching.

I. There are many features about micro class, like being short, refined and animated, using many sorts of resources. So, only on the condition that teachers can make good use of thes features can the English teaching quality be improved and micro class be better used in English teaching.

II. Control every link of micro class to improve the efficiency of English teaching.

1. Strictly select teaching materials .Because micro class is quite short, teachers must take on the extremely important and difficult points in their micro class.It cant be as detailed as English book.

2. Be cautious to choose the teaching form of micro class, for example, teaching, discussing, exercises or demonstrating.The whole teaching procedure must be refined and understandable—啊 quick lead-in, clear study clues and a short and simple ending. The appearance of the PPT should be beautiful.

III. Make full use of micro class in all spheres of English teaching to realize the value of micro class.

First, review the old English language points. Actually, English learning is nothing but repetition. The target of language learning is to master a great amount of vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns. However, 45 minutes is far from enough. In order to let students better learn English, teachers can make micro class about these. Students can watch them after class so that they have a chance to consolidate the old language points. Second, lead in the new lesson. Micro class can efficiently arouse students interest in study. Before they get down to the new lesson, teachers can activate students learning motivations by letting them watch a micro class as a warming up.

All in all, micro class has firmly attracted lots of Junior Middle School students because of its original and creative form. It also solves the problems that teachers meet in the course of teaching. Important and difficult points stand out in micro class and it helps teachers set up highly efficient teaching system. Therefore, in order to realize the students all round development and theri comprehensive quality, teachers should bring in micro class into their daily class. Teachers should keep in pace with education informationalization.
