








摘 要:選取2007—2018年395家發(fā)生CEO繼任事件和具有國際化行為的中國上市制造業(yè)公司樣本,分析繼任CEO來源、組織冗余和中國企業(yè)國際化進程之間的內(nèi)在邏輯關系,并探討了國際環(huán)境不確定性在CEO來源與組織冗余間的邊界條件。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),相較于內(nèi)部繼任CEO,外部繼任CEO傾向于國際化范圍更廣、國際化速度更快及國際化節(jié)奏更不規(guī)律。組織冗余在外部繼任CEO與國際化范圍、速度間扮演更加顯著的U型非線性中介作用,但在外部繼任CEO與國際化節(jié)奏間作用并不顯著。國際環(huán)境不確定性削弱了外部繼任CEO與組織冗余間的關系,即隨著國際環(huán)境不確定性程度的提高,外部繼任CEO會采取增加組織冗余的方式,從而弱化外部繼任CEO與組織冗余之間的負向關系。

The Research on CEO Succession Source, Organizational Slack and Internationalization"Process of Chinese Firms

Abstract: The paper collects a sample of 395 Chinese listed manufacturing companies with CEO succession events and internationalization behaviors from 2007 to 2018 to analyze the internal logical relationship between CEO succession (internal succession,external succession), organizational slack and the internationalization process of Chinese enterprises (internationalization speed, pace and scope). And the boundary conditions of international environmental uncertainty between CEO succession and organizational slack are discussed. The results show that compared with internal CEOs, external CEOs tend to have a larger scope of internationalization,a faster pace of internationalization, and a more irregular pace of internationalization. Organizational slack plays a significant U-shaped non-linear mediating role between CEO succession and the scope and speed of internationalization, but not between CEO succession and the pace of internationalization. International environmental uncertainty negatively moderates the relationship between CEO succession and organizational slack.

傳統(tǒng)的企業(yè)國際化理論認為,企業(yè)國際化活動是一個漸進的過程,但是近年來隨著經(jīng)濟全球化的深入,許多國際新創(chuàng)企業(yè)和天生國際化企業(yè)紛紛涌現(xiàn),它們往往采取“加速”和“跳躍”的形式實現(xiàn)國際化,這與傳統(tǒng)的企業(yè)國際化路徑不同。現(xiàn)有文獻多從宏觀與中觀層面研究企業(yè)國際化的動因,而從微觀層面研究的較少。本文將運用高階理論來解釋中國企業(yè)國際化進程的影響因素。高階理論認為,作為企業(yè)高層管理團隊的核心,CEO對企業(yè)國際化決策起決定性作用。實際上,企業(yè)還可通過CEO繼任這一高管變動事件對組織戰(zhàn)略產(chǎn)生深遠影響,因為CEO繼任是對組織戰(zhàn)略產(chǎn)生影響的“獨一無二和非常重大的事件”。……
