【教學內容】
牛津小學英語5B Unit 8 Birthdays Story time
【教材簡解】
本板塊通過Miss Li詢問Su Hai, Mike的生日,他們分別描述生日當天的情形學習句型:Whens your birthday? What do you do on your birthday? 及回答Its on... I usually...并通過此板塊學習新詞組:have a big dinner, eat some noodles, play with Kitty, have a party, buy a birthday cake, eat the birthday cake, play some games, have a great time, have a lot of fun.
【設計理念】
本節課是五下第8單元的第一課時,是一節語篇教學課。現代課堂閱讀教學結構大體上分為三個階段:閱讀前、閱讀中和閱讀后,目的是確保通過閱讀教學幫助學生形成處理文本的能力。本節課中,我深度挖掘教材資源,遵循整體——局部——整體的教學思路,注重前后知識的聯系,讓語言學習在真實的、自然的師生互動中進行;同時為學生提供思考和語言交際的機會,讓英語課堂成為學生彰顯個性的舞臺。
【教學目標】
1.能聽懂、會讀、會說單詞:eleventh, eighth, together, play games.
2.能聽懂、會讀、會說日常用語:Whens your birthday? What do you do on your birthday? 及回答Its on... I usually...
3.能正確地理解并朗讀課文,在教師的引導和幫助下嘗試復述課文內容。
4.能了解中西方文化中不同的生日風俗習慣。

2.能初步運用本課所學的詞匯和句型詢問別人的生日以及如何過生日。

1.Its me.
T: Look, its me. My English name is Rose. And my birthday is on the first of April. This is the first of April, and this is the second of April. How do we say it? (引導學生說出四月三日) Can you circle the eighth of April? (引導學生猜eighth 的意思,并學習單詞eighth,及詞組the eighth of April)
T: (課件出示五月份的日歷)I think, May is the most important month of a year. Because Mothers Day is in it. When is Mothers Day? (引導學生說出 on the eleventh of May, 并學習eleventh)

【設計思路】設計讓學生復述課文,一方面可以檢查他們對新知識的掌握情況,另一方面可以培養他們自己組織語言材料進行口語交際的能力,讓他們能夠學以致用,也使整個課文的處理呈現出層層推進,由淺入深,層次分明,課文的復述是對學生提出的最高要求。
