讀寫課是小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中常見的課型之一,是學(xué)生形成語言能力和文化理解的主要途徑。本文結(jié)合PEP六年級上冊Unit3“MyweekendplanReadandwrite”,闡述將中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化融入英語課堂教學(xué)中,發(fā)展學(xué)生語言能力的同時用英語傳播中國文化,實現(xiàn)課程育人。
一、追問細節(jié),深入了解傳統(tǒng)文化
1.觀看視頻后追問
在這節(jié)課的導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生觀看關(guān)于“中秋節(jié)”的視頻,初步了解中秋節(jié)的傳統(tǒng)習(xí)俗和文化意義后,師生進行對話。
- T:What's the video about?
- Ss:Mid-Autumn Festival.
- T:Yes! When is Mid-AutumnFestival?
- S1:It's in September or October.
-T:Oh.Weknow“八月十五”is Mid-Autumn Festival.Why?
- Ss : .
-T:In China we usually use lunar calendar to date the traditional festival.So it is on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.And what do people in Luoding often do on that day?
-S2: People often have a big dinner,eat mooncakes. -T: Right.Mooncakes are usually round.Do you know why? -Ss:... -T:The round appearance means reunion and perfection.So on that day people try to go home.
2.理解課文時追問
為了讓學(xué)生深入地理解文本內(nèi)容,教師應(yīng)通過層層遞進的追問,挖掘文本的細節(jié)。如在學(xué)生閱讀Binbin的日記后,進行下列對話。
-T: Boys and girls. Binbin is talking about his Mid-Autumn Festival plan in his diary.What do you know from the diary?
-S1:Binbin's family are going to get together and have a big dinner.
-S2:Binbin's grandma is going to read a story about Chang'e.
S4:Robin and Binbin are going to read a poem.
-T:Yes.What does“get together\" mean?
-S5:The family members are together.
-T: Good! And do you know the story about Chang'e?
-S6:I know.I can tell the story in Chinese.
-T: Yes.Chang'e was Hou Yi's wife.In order to protect the elixir,she swallowed it and flew to the moon.It is a mythical story.How about Robin and Binbin?
-T:What is the poem about? -Ss :Family.
教師利用問題鏈,適當(dāng)擴展文本內(nèi)容可以加深學(xué)生對課文的理解,也讓他們更詳細地了解中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日背后的習(xí)俗和文化。
二、拓展延伸,傳播中華文化
在本節(jié)課的拓展階段,教師讓學(xué)生復(fù)述課文后,適時讓學(xué)生結(jié)合實際討論問題:“Whatareyour familygoing to do on Mid-autumn Festival?”學(xué)生討論后,教師給出支架讓學(xué)生寫一封郵件,邀請外國筆友共同慶
祝中秋節(jié)。

結(jié)合自身生活實際的說和寫,不但訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生寫作和實踐能力,學(xué)生寫到的做粽子,制作燈籠等傳統(tǒng)文化,更是讓他們初步懂得用英語表達中華文化,增強傳播中華文化的意識。
三、補充資源,傳承傳統(tǒng)文化
多樣化的教學(xué)資源能讓學(xué)生接觸到更豐富的語言材料和情境,加深對文本主題的理解和記憶。
本節(jié)課的主題與節(jié)日有關(guān),在導(dǎo)入階段,教師可以補充“Festival”這首藏頭詩作為學(xué)習(xí)材料。給學(xué)生呈現(xiàn)這首詩后,教師有感情地朗讀讓學(xué)生感知詩歌的內(nèi)容,然后提出問題:“What's the poem about?What do you know from the poem?What do youwant to say?”引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考,讓學(xué)生進一步了解詩歌的意義。這首詩的融入讓學(xué)生感知節(jié)日文化,感受到節(jié)日的氛圍和生活的美好,懂得珍惜與家人相聚的時光,培養(yǎng)他們自信樂觀的態(tài)度。
