【摘要】學習英語的目的是為了交流,因此英語的口語學習至關重要,說好英語口語是我們學習英語的最終目的。筆者在教學實踐中總結出正確使用自然拼讀對英語口語學習具有非常重要的作用,寫出來與大家共勉。

The purpose of learning English is for communication, so spoken English is of great importance. That we can speak with good oral English is our ultimate goal of learning English. Somestudents can't remember thespelling; some even can't read, just write again and again and become the dumb English in the end.Since May 2002 Beijing Oral English Certificate Test (BOEC) and since October 2006 Beijing English Testing System (BETS) as an advanced oral English examiners, the author has been teaching oral Englishfor nearly 12 years of experience in the front line.The author who has a good experience of teaching for many years summarized the correct use of the phonics playing an important role in oral English learning, writing to share with you.

All thestudents use are the books which are the materials after the educational reform, thecontents and the number of words are much more than ever before, so they need to remember lots of English words.How to remember the great number of words is a hard and tough problem for not only the student but also the teachers;they will be with a great pressure.If there is no scientific method, the students' confidence of learning English will be struck heavily, and the interest of learning Englishalso can be reduced, even be tired of learning.Through many years' teaching, the author finds that there are a lot of ways and means to remember the words.The author wants to talk about the four steps of memorizing words as below:

The first point is the pronunciation because our aim of learning English is to communicate with other people. You cannot let others hear or understand you if you cannot speak up, so it is futile.The second point is the spelling because it is easy or helpful for you to spell it if you can read the word correctly, and then according to the shape of the pronunciation to memorizethe words, therefore it is easier and science.The third point is the meaning because it is nonsense for you to memorize the words if you dont know their meanings; otherwise you also know nothing about the sentences or articles.The fourth point is the usage because you can use it in a proper way if you knowthe character and surroundings of a certain word. After finishing the four steps, we can say you completely grasp the learning of a word. According to two stepsthe pronunciation and the spelling of the word, these two steps are the keys of learning English words.Let's talk about how to correctly master the pronunciation.

Now there are mainly two tools to learn the English pronunciation: one is the phonics and the other is the international phonetic.The author considers that the Phocis plays an important role in learning oral English.

In our country, there is a good way to rescue the students from the pain of learning English since the lower grades of theelementary school and it is the phonics that can help the students to learn the pronunciation and spelling. Many children like memorizing the English wordswith the alphabetical order methodology, meanwhile they remember the word letter by letter, and it is wrong. The wrong method not only delaysthegolden period oflanguage development but also kills the learning interest, they also obviously cannot reach the desired effect and purpose.Phonics is the commonest way for the children whose native language is English and it can help the children to recognize the pronunciation and combination rule of the letters in order to achieve "words can be read if you see, words can be written if you hear".This is mainly because a direct link of the letters and sounds is established.

The basic method of the phonics is to require the students to master the basic sound of 44 representative of English letters and letter combinations (namely the letters and letter combinations in the pronunciation of words, rather than their own name pronunciation, such as the consonant letter b represents /b/, rather than read/bi: /; vowels combination ai and ay represent/ei/), as well as some relationshipsare the basic rules of English spelling and pronunciation.Let the students see an English word, and they will be able to read it out; or let the studentsthink of a word, they can a spell it out according to the law of spelling and pronunciation, namely to see its shape, it is known by its note; listen to the sound and it is known by its shape.According to the statistics, English as a kind of alphabet writing, more than 75% of the words are in line with the spelling rules. According to the characteristics of the natural spelling and the characteristics of students learning English, a lot of parents, teachers, and professionals all think phonic is the best way to solve the problem of children's English pronunciation and spelling during many ways.At the same time, phonic can greatly improve not only the speed and accuracy of children to memorize words, but also the ability of children reading words.

When we want to be sure to read out all the words including the words you know or dont know, the international phonetics has become an important auxiliary tool of phonics.After grasping the international phonetics, the students can depend on the teachers and parents, and then they will look it upin the dictionary and find out the international phonetics to read out, spell out and correct their own pronunciation.At the same time, they also remember the wordseasily according to the pronunciation. They had better to combine these two tools becausethere are different and unstable pronunciations ofa lot of letters or letter combinations.In a word, different means and methods have their advantages and limitations, and each has its applicable object and the situation, so the teachers only combine them well with teaching practice and experiencein order to achieve the better effect.

In today's increasing development, there are more and more foreign words that become or come into the English words. They are adopted and pronounced with the pronunciation of the original country directly, so a lot of the pronunciation of wordscouldnt be recognized or pronouncedeasily and correctly because they don't follow the rules of pronouncing, at this time, the use of a variety of tools in the face of all kinds of words will play an important role.Obviously speaking, using phonics teaching method, students can grasp the pronunciation of the words in the letters, whats more, they can read the words out if they cansee the words at the first sight. The relationship between the English spelling and pronunciation, the use of these laws can help the students to remember spelling more easily, listening to write, meanwhile its good to promote the development of students in all kinds of language skills.Teaching by applying the method of phonics, it can help the students to recognize the words because it is caused by some units (letters or letters group), and it also can let them understand the sound - form letters of the same sex.According to the investigation 85% of English words by word phonetic form corresponding rules to spelling.
