摘 要 機械設計基礎作為一門重要的技術基礎課,在很多近機械類工科專業中起著承上啟下的作用,其教學效果直接影響學生后繼相關專業設備課程的學習情況。針對該課程的專業特點和近機械類學生的現實情況,分析教學過程中存在的一些問題,提出相應的教學方法改革措施,并應用于具體的教學過程中,取得良好的教學效果。

Abstract As an important technological basic courses, Machine De-
sign Foundation played the role of connecting link of the settlement plan in many majoring in mechanical or near mechanical engineering
specialty, whose teaching effect have a direct impact on the students study situation of following relevant professional equipment course. According to the professional characteristics of the course and the feasibility condition of students majoring in mechanical or near mechanical fields, this paper analyzed some of the problems in the teaching process, put forward the corresponding reform measures of teaching methods and applied them to the specific teaching process, which had achieved good teaching results.

1 前言
機械設計基礎是很多非機械類工科專業不可或缺的一門技術基礎課,本課程的目標是使學生熟悉機構分析與設計的基本理論和基本方法,掌握機械零件的工作原理、特點、選用和設計計算的基本知識,具有內容繁雜、抽象,實踐性強等特點。本課程的教學效果直接影響學生今后在自身領域學習專業機械設備課程的效果。對于揚州大學水利工程專業,學生在學習本課程之前,缺乏與機械相關的基礎知識,工程實踐能力和空間想象能力均較弱,不了解本課程的知識內容對其后繼專業課程學習效果的影響,從而使學生學習本課程時容易產生懼學和棄學的情緒。如何調動學生的學習積極性,讓學生掌握課程的基本內容,培養工程素質和動手能力,成為授課教師必須面對的課題。以下是筆者在教學實踐中摸索總結出的一些經驗和想法,以期拋磚引玉。
