摘 ?要:外研版 新標準英語(一起)Book 6Module 6 Unit 2There is a small monster一課,通過大明向同學們展示他們小組設計的怪物,在介紹的過程中運用了核心句型“There is/are...”結構。這一結構表示存在,在學習這一結構的同時,復習了學過的數詞和表示身體部位的名詞。本課故事貼近學生生活,知識點簡單,很容易把握課文內容,并靈活運用核心語句在特定的情境中。下面,筆者將淺談There is a small monster第二課時的教學設計。

教材分析
通過大明向同學們展示他們小組設計的怪物,在介紹的過程中運用了核心句型“There is/are...”結構。這一結構表示存在,在學習這一結構的同時,復習了學過的數詞和表示身體部位的名詞。
學生分析
三年級的學生開朗、活潑,具有豐富的表現欲望,學習習慣良好。本課故事貼近學生生活,知識點簡單,很容易把握課文內容,并靈活運用核心語句在特定的情境中。
教學目標
1.知識目標:能夠聽說、認讀單詞poster,monster,arm,hands...
2.能力目標:能運用核心句型There is a .... There are ....描述某處存在某物。
3.情感目標:能體會到學習英語的樂趣,養成良好的英語學習習慣。
教學重難點
1.能夠掌握句型There is ... There are ...,并能熟練運用。
2.能運用已學語言說明存在和數量。
教學流程
Ⅰ. Warm up
1.Greeting.
2.Sing a song-There is a hole in the middle of the sea.
3.Game,quick eyes,quick mouths.
Ⅱ. Review the text and key sentences.
1.Listen and repeat Part 2.
2.Fill in the blanks according to the text.
3.Show the mind map and ask them to retell the text.
4.Do some exercises.
5.Game:Lucky wheel to practise the sentence pattern “There is / are ....”
Ⅲ. Practice
1.Enjoy a song and ask-How many green birds are there in the tree?
2.Check the answer and teach the words “accidentally fall” .
3.Sing after the tape.
4. Sing together.
5.Describe the pictures by using the pattern “There is /are .... Hes / Theyre playing ....”
Ⅳ.Production
1.Enjoy a picture book.
2.Read a picture book and try to answer the question-What else are in the desert?
3.Check the answers.
There are old cities / new cities / children in the desert.
Ⅴ. Summary and homework.
1.Read the dialogue 5 times.
2.Make a poster and introduce your poster to your parents.
Ⅵ.Blackboard design.
